FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Every buyer should contact a real estate professional, even when purchasing new construction. Many think that they can save money but unfortunately, that is not the case. New home pricing is with or without another real estate professional involved. We have experience in negotiating pricing/closing costs/incentives/upgrades and can help you get the best deal.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
In this day and age of needing extra safety, it is best to hire a REALTOR to help make sure that the people that are viewing your home in person, is qualified to purchase. I don't show anyone homes, until I know that they have spoke to a lender/provided proof of funds. Also, there are many disclosures that sellers may need to provide to potential buyers. I will make sure that your transaction is compliant with the rules and laws.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with many different clients, Military, First TIme Home buyers/sellers, Corporate Relocation employees of all levels, 2nd home purchasers and also those who have had to deal with an estate because of a death of a loved one. Each client I work with is treated the same, no matter what price range.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I recently helped an older couple who had sold their home in Philadelphia and had no home to go to here in Florida. Their listing agent found me, and I helped find them temporary housing while we looked for a condo that would work for them. At times they were frustrated, but we kept looking for the right home...and we did! They were/are so grateful that I was able to assist them.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I started in the Real Estate field in Virginia Beach, VA and affiliated with Long & Foster Real Estate (the largest privately owned company in the mid-Atlantic). I attended the licensing and training classes offered by Long & Foster and was with this company for 18 years. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices purchased Long & Foster a few years ago, and when I moved to Florida, I am happy to say that I am with the same Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Family - Just Florida Realty now!
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have obtained several designations and certifications that will benefit the customers that I work with. The first designation I received was the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR). I have also completed and received the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification) and the e-PRO Certification. I have also completed several relocation training classes and taken several Broker licensing classes. I continue to improve my knowledge by taking additional classes, webinars and training that I am able.
Trying to sell long distant left alot of extra problems for Vicki to Handel above and beyond her responsibility of selling the home. She excepted this burden spent more than her fair share of time to dealing with contractors, cleaning and removal people, her boss owes her a bigger cut
