After hearing a glowing recommendation of Veronica from another recent buyer, I reached out and was impressed by how quickly she got back to me. We had an initial consultation where she walked me through the process, answering any questions I had during that time. She was also willing to work on a very tight schedule, arranging visits to properties with only a couple days notice and on weekends, as that was the only time I was able to arrange a visit to the area. During the visit, we visited 3 condos together (even driving me from condo to condo instead of Uber-ing from place to place) and she offered valuable input that helped me decide that the condo I ended up buying was the place for me. Once I found the property I hope to buy, she made herself available whenever I needed, even if that meant answering texts and calls well past normal working hours. Shed get me the MLS info (disclosures etc.) on the houses I was interested in very quickly, and her availability for tours was excellent. She has positive professional relationships with many realtors in the area, which proved helpful for my search! When it came to putting together offers, Veronica walked me through the options that could make my offers more attractive to sellers. At the same time, she never pressured me to go beyond what I was comfortable with. She was realistic and straightforward about my chances with different houses/offers. She was also very accurate and thorough with paperwork, so if youre more type A (like I am) you dont have to worry! Veronica gave great advice. Shes very experienced and honest, and I really felt like she had my best interest at heart. She never made me feel rushed or pressured, which allowed me to feel more confident in my decisions. She is NOT a realtor whos just in it for the sale. At one point I was feeling discouraged because of the market, and I thought I might be priced out of my preferred area. Veronica told me it was possible to buy there with some patience. With her help, I found and bought a lovely house soon after that. When I needed to get in contact with her, she responded to emails right away and was able to schedule viewings for me within a few days. It took more than a year of viewing houses for me to make my first offer. The house had a pending offer as soon as I was able to view it, but Veronica kept checking in on it for me and when the pending offer fell through, she walked me through putting in a competitive offer that was later accepted! Upon initial contact, I could tell she was kind, responsive, realistic and very knowledgeable about the area. She did a great job of explaining the process. Other realtors I talked to provided higher than believable selling prices and seemed over ambitious to get me excited to work with them, but it had the opposite affect. Veronica's estimates were very realistic which made me feel like I was working with someone who I could trust. She is so flexible and informative. I live two hours away from the property and she was so accommodating, she took care of everything without me needing to meet her in person - I did everything remotely. I felt very informed every step of the way from the initial listing to the offers received the very first weekend. From our initial consultation with her, her background as a teacher really shined through: she was thorough, patient, and knowledgeable when explaining the ins and outs of home buying. We always felt like we were her top priority and had her undivided attention. She was very quick to reply to our many questions and requests for viewings (even at night and on weekends), and she was always willing to accommodate our sometimes wacky work schedules in order to make sure we got to see all the properties we wanted to. What we most appreciated about Veronica, however, was her honesty and objectivity. She NEVER tried to "sell" a property to us. In fact, rather than highlighting the positive features of a home, she took care to point out potential issues and their implications (e.g. cracks in basement walls, signs of water infiltration, bathrooms that didn't have ventilation fans, ungrounded outlets, etc.) She was always up front when she was showing a property we were interested in to multiple clients, and if she had other clients making offers on those properties, though she did an exceptional job of maintaining her clients' confidentiality and would never reveal the details of another client's offer. Veronica provided valuable insight when we began constructing offers, but never pressured us to offer more than we were comfortable with, or to waive any contingencies if we didn't feel comfortable doing so. We would have never succeeded in buying our home in this tough market without her guidance. She moved us through buying a house that was a rental property so there were some complications to deal with such as the then-owner's-representative overseeing and completing the city's inspection process (to renew the property's certificate of occupancy), as well as the usual inspection to evaluate the property as part of the sales process. ZillowVERIFIED Veronica was amazing as my realtor. I was a first time buyer, and had exactly zero idea of what I needed to know about the house-buying process. Veronica sat down with me (virtually, of course) and took me step by step through what I needed to know, and by the end, I was so much more prepared than I was expecting to be. Veronica also was super responsive, I don't think I had a text or call that didn't get a response within 30 minutes. And she also was great to have in my corner when putting together an offer. I can't remember how many offers I ended up making, but I do know that because of her, I was a serious contender in mostly all of them, and even resulted in two of them being accepted. The first time, I ended up backing out after the inspection, and Veronica was supportive of my decision to do so. I never felt rushed or pressured by her. She truly wants you to get the house that you want, not just any old thing so she can move on to her next client. All in all, if you go with Veronica, you will not be disappointed. ZillowVERIFIED Veronica helped me purchase a search and ultimately purchase a home in 2020. It is hard to overstate the value that Veronica brings to the home search. Being a first time home owner, I knew absolutely nothing about the home-purchasing process. Veronica was able to help me learn about the process, and was honest and direct about the houses we viewed. She does not try to pressure you into a home -- she really puts care into making sure that you would be happy in your new home. Veronica really fights for you: -The township fined me for trash left out on the curb by the previous homeowner. I mentioned this to Veronica, and she contacted the seller's agent with the details. I did not end up paying the fine. -At her recommendation, I purchased a home warranty. The warranty would NOT be worth it without her on your side. My refrigerator failed a few months after purchase. The home warranty company offered me an abysmal sum to replace it. Through Veronica, I was able to secure more than double the initial offer towards securing a new fridge.
