Kevin helped us navigate both the sale of our home and the purchase of our new one, and he was excellent every step of the way. On the sale side, Kevins pricing strategy and local market knowledge were spot-on. His team was incredibly organized and responsive, and the staging team led by Kitty did a fantastic job. They gave us great advice, made the house look amazing, and the final marketing package completely blew us away, including the video, photos, and glossy brochure. On the buy side, Kevin was just as strong. He was responsive, calm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping us find the right home. One moment in particular really showed us who he is. We had bid the same amount on two different houses. We preferred one, but did not initially get it, so we moved forward with the second house and had just completed attorney review. When the first deal fell through and the home we truly wanted became available again, Kevin called us immediately. He would have made the same commission either way, but his quick action allowed us to mutually terminate the other contract and pivot back to the house we preferred, even though it meant delaying his own commission. That is the kind of service you can expect from Kevin. He was truly rooting for us. Beyond being extremely knowledgeable and professional, Kevin is also just a really nice person. He kept us calm, stayed on top of the many details involved in both transactions, and made a stressful process feel manageable. His entire team was excellent. I wanted to move from my apartment, but realized that in any place I moved to, rent would be at least $600 more/month that I was currently paying so I decided buying might be my best option. I met Alex through my work and we started exploring the idea of what buying would look like. I was worried because of my employment situation from the past few years but Alex introduced me to a great lender who was able to pre-approve me! Alex worked hard to get me into the condo I just closed on! Many requests for tours went unanswered and it was really hard for us to get in to just see the unit. Once we got in and I realized I wanted to make an offer, Alex did what she needed to to guide me in choosing an offer I was comfortable making, and after some negotiation, I ended up getting the unit at less than asking price. Alex was enthusiastic, optimistic, yet realistic, and VERY available. She was even checking in on how things were going from a trip to Italy. We previously worked with an agent in New York and struggled for over a year to get an accepted offer. On a whim we started looking at open houses in South Orange/Maplewood and thats where we met Julie. We immediately felt comfortable with her and sensed that she had our best interests at heart. Its a tough market for buyers right now! Julie instructed us on how to make a competitive offer without assuming too much risk. She was also incredibly kind and helped us through the stress of house searching in this intense market (she calmly talked us through panics & disappointments). Within 4 weeks of starting our search in Maplewood, we had an accepted offer on a move-in ready house, for a price that was not at the top end of our budget. Once we were under contract, each team member at Pollock helped us carefully through each step of the process. There was consistent communication from them (group texts, emails etc..). They paid attention to so many little details; they included video messages with directions/assurances, they referred us to other members of the team when someone couldnt directly answer a question. Youre definitely working with the WHOLE team when you work with a buyers agent at Pollock Properties Group. Whether you are buying or selling we truly cant recommend them enough.

They helped guide us through long and complicated negotiations with good humor and good advice. We looked at a ton of houses and found the one that was perfect for us. Brad is a blast to hang out/view/inspect with and gives terrific advice. They were available whenever we needed them and connected us with terrific people to handle the mortgage, inspections etc. Closing manager Teri Pilling was very helpful getting folks to do estimates etc. Very happy we chose Pollock Group!

ZillowVERIFIED We had a great experience with Pollock. We found Mark at an open house that he was hosting, and he made the effort to get in touch with us and learn more about our plan. We worked together for 2 months in the very competitive 2020 fall buying season. We lost hope a couple times, but Mark kept us engaged by touring additional homes on our behalf, and ultimately, we found our home one day when we didnt think we would. Mark was always responsive and proactive, and kind! During the purchase process, the PPG team was helpful and guided us. They had lists of vendors for everything we needed to do. The charitable donation they made on our behalf was a nice touch as well. Would recommend the team!
