The last 20 years have brought success to both Vanessa and her clients, as her team has negotiated and closed new housing for over 1,600+ families, amounting to well over $950,000,000 in sales. Currently, PPG is the #1 Real Estate team for Maplewood/South Orange, which simply means that Vanessa's unique "P7" plan for home selling is winning! Years ago, Vanessa appeared in two seasons of the real estate show "Bought & Sold" on HGTV, where she became a recognizable face for honest and ethical real estate practices, always putting others FIRST. Her sales goals are important because they help her reach as many people as possible with service that is fair, honest, ethical and at a concierge-level but just as important is her "giving goal". Vanessa has a mission/vision to give back to her community in ways that have a lasting impact. Pollock Properties Group has raised and donated over $550,000 in the last decade to local charities, community events, global initiatives, and her family's very own Pollock Arts Initiative (formerly the Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative). Vanessa and the team hope to increase the giving every year to come. On a national level, Vanessa is the creator of the #CareServeGive business model and teaches, trains and speaks to audiences of all sizes about how to grow a profitable business by being servant-hearted, community-focused and generosity-based. On a personal level, Vanessa, her Broadway-Star husband Charlie and 2 of their 3 children reside in South Orange, NJ, after having lived in the East Village of NYC, Downtown Jersey City, and Maplewood NJ. Their oldest grown child is a musician based out of Los Angeles.
Community Involvement
The Pollock Arts Initiative (formerly known as the Vanessa Pollock Music Initiative) is a fund that helps : 1. Repair/add to the Music Instrument Inventory for the entire SOMA School District. 2. Provide scholarship funds to in-need students, for the rental of band/orchestra instruments. 3. Provide private music instruction and instruments to in-need, prodigious students. Hundreds and hundreds of children are impacted by the Initiative every year through instruments, lessons, encouragement and acknowledgement. . In addition, the fund will supplement Achieve Foundation funding of grant requests related to visual and performing arts, and may be used to help maintain the District's inventory of musical instruments and other arts-related equipment and supplies. Through the Initiative, scholarship awards for advanced training may be offered to Columbia High School students who demonstrate exceptional talent and are recommended by SOMSD music and arts department faculty. Awards are tailored to students' specific needs for private instruction, classes and/or professional quality instruments/art equipment.
