We originally met with 2 other agents and Troys communication and follow up after the meeting gave a a good indication of what the experience working with him and the team was going to be like. ZillowVERIFIEDI live in Vancouver BC and wanted to buy an investment property in Seattle area late last year. I came across a property listed by Troy and sent an inquiry. I got a response from Jim(Troys team member) right away. Jim offered me to show the properties in the area. I am very glad that I said YES. Jim picked some properties for us and we had a couple of showings. Given the fact that it takes us 2-3 hours driving for every appointment, Jim picked the properties carefully and had a double check in the morning when we drove down to see if there are any new listings. This actually made a difference. On the third appointment, in the morning Jim found a new listing which is really good. We viewed the property and decided to write an offer. The problem was, since it was a property with great value and priced lower than the market price, there were multiple offers on the property. Troy called me and provided the advice that how the offer should be written. When the offer was sent to the seller?s agent, I wasnt too confident. But it turned out that the seller picked my offer although my offer was lower than the other bids. After the home inspection, Troy made some negotiation and the seller agreed on fixing almost everything on the house. Since this is the first time we buy a property in the States, we had a lot of questions. Michelle explained everything to us with great patience. The deal closed last week, we are very thankful to Team Troy. The whole process was very ordered and together we made every decision right. He drove out to see the house we had just toured, and helped us put together an offer on it that day (Sunday). Then the real work began: selling the current house.
