FAQ
Get pre-approved early.
Before you start touring homes, connect with a trusted lender. Knowing your budget helps you shop with confidence and shows sellers you’re serious.
Think long-term, not just right now.
Look for a home that will meet your needs for the next 5–7 years. Consider lifestyle changes, family growth, or even career shifts.
Don’t stretch yourself too thin.
Just because you qualify for a certain loan amount doesn’t mean you should spend it all. Choose a payment that feels comfortable so you can enjoy your new home stress-free.
Understand all the costs.
Beyond the purchase price, factor in closing costs, insurance, property taxes, and potential repairs or updates.
Lean on your agent’s expertise.
The process can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’ll guide you step by step, answer questions, and negotiate on your behalf.
Stay focused on your goals.
It’s easy to get distracted by “perfect” homes outside your budget. Stick to what matters most—location, space, and must-have features.
Remember, it’s okay to be emotional—but lean on logic too.
Buying your first home is exciting! Just make sure your decision is guided by both your heart and the numbers.
Price it right from the start.
The first impression your home makes on the market is crucial. A competitive, well-researched price attracts more buyers and often results in stronger offers.
First impressions matter.
Curb appeal sets the tone. Simple touches like fresh mulch, a clean entryway, and a welcoming front door can make a big difference.
Declutter and depersonalize.
Buyers need to picture themselves living in your home. Removing personal photos, excess décor, and unnecessary furniture creates a clean, inviting space.
Make small updates count.
Fresh paint, updated light fixtures, and minor repairs can add big value without major expense.
Be flexible with showings.
The more available your home is to be shown, the more opportunities you’ll have for buyers to see it—and fall in love.
Highlight your home’s strengths.
Every home has a story. Whether it’s a cozy backyard, an open kitchen, or a quiet neighborhood, we’ll showcase what makes your home special.
Stay prepared emotionally.
Selling a home can be personal, but remember—it’s a business decision too. Trust me to handle the negotiations so you can focus on your next chapter.
Trust the process.
The market can shift quickly. Having an experienced agent by your side means you’ll always know your options and the best strategy moving forward.
I have worked with clients that needed downpayment assistance to clients paying cash for their home. It doesn't matter the price point, I treat all clients the same.
I met this client on a Facebook page for horse farms for sell. When we met we felt an instant bond. In fact she gave my daughter her horse that she had raised Levi. We took much care in getting their beloved farm listed. After going under contract the buyer decided to back out at the last minute. I assured her we would make it work. During the process with the previous buyer, I had introduced him to several equestrian trainers that would love to give riding lessons at this farm. While in conversations, one of the trainers said this farm was a dream of hers. This gave me goose bumps! I really wanted to play matchmaker for these two. I went to work and sold the home of the potential buyers and got them set up with a great lender. We had to jump through MANY hoops and we had to exercise patience but we did it! We made the dream of the seller to move to the beach and retire, and the buyers dream of owning this farm come true. The buyers gave me a magic wand as a gift after the transaction and the sellers gave me a key to their new home as an open invitation to the beach anytime I wished!
I was the Senior Director for the YMCA and COVID made that not an option anymore. I begin working for a real estate team as the director of operations and sales. I fell in love with real estate and never looked back.
I have coached or been a part of over 200 transactions. This prepared me to problem solve like no other!
