ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Tony on our purchase of our was an amazing experience. Before taking us on as clients, he took time to review the contractual terms and conditions so that knew what to expect as a buyer and our protections. This took about 2 hours and we were allowed time to consider before committing. We went to see several properties. This property we saw the day before Resurrection Sunday. Our son saw the neighborhood/house, & immediately knew it was home, and so did my wife and I. To avoid a bidding war, I wanted to offer above asking price. Tony told me to let him do his job. While on our way to the next property, he was already making moves. Sunday night, he called us and informed us that our offer was accepted. We were under contract and closed on the date initially set. Thank you for guidance, professionalism, keeping us informed throughout the process, making sure deadlines were kept and met. Absolutely amazing experience working with Tony!

ZillowVERIFIED Tony helped us to shop for and ultimately buy our first home. In the beginning of our search, my wife and I had a little bit different visions of what we were looking for, and we hadnt even decided on whether we were looking for new construction or an existing home, town house or single family home, and whether it would even be in Delaware or Pennsylvania. Tony coached and guided us as we discovered what we were looking for in our perfect home, and then once we knew what we were looking for, helped us to find it. Once we found our perfect home, he advised us on what we could do to make a strong offer that would stand out in a very tough sellers market, so that it had a good chance of being accepted. Tony was especially helpful in negotiations, helping us to see both sides perspectives and helped us to develop win-win options that ultimately lead to the acceptance of our offer. All along the way, Tony was there to answer any questions we had and made sure we understood the process. Once we were under contract, Tony made sure that we were aware of key contract deadlines and understood what was required to satisfy each and every one. He also made sure we understood the appraisal and home inspection reports, and helped us to decide when to bring in other experts in to evaluate a condition in the home. He even called our parents to answer questions they had and to educate them on local market conditions. We met Tony at the end of Feb and we settled in the middle of May, so somehow Tony was able to get us through all of this in 2.5 months! We wholeheartedly recommend Tony and his brokerage and cant speak of them highly enough!

ZillowVERIFIED Tony was amazing throughout the entire process. We were on a tight timeline and wanted to move in by the end of the year. He knew exactly what we wanted and found the perfect house by the end of the first week. The house had only been on the market for 1 day and Tony knew exactly what offer we needed to make. Our offer was accepted by the end of the day! Tony kept us informed on everything happening until our settlement day. Even to this day Tony is promptly responsive to any questions we have. I would highly recommend Tony!

ZillowVERIFIED Tony truly put my mind as ease with the entire buying process more than I could ever image! I had two previous realtors I worked with and I was having issues with their lack of timely communication, lack of transparency and honesty with the buying process and available resources for a first time home buyer, as well as a lack of knowledge with the area. I stumbled onto a zillow referral for Mr. Carlton, and I'm so glad I did. He knows his stuff, and really treated me like family giving me the ends and outs of the full process. Which was key for me because I'm a first time home buyer and there are things I simply don't know to ask. Top notch professionalism, negotiation skills, and timely communication is what makes Tony Carlton the type of realtor you need on your team! He referred me to the mortgage lender and the home inspector I used. I appreciate that he was thorough with who he referred me too. I had excellent experiences with them as well!

ZillowVERIFIED Tony helped my wife and I find our first home while accommodating our needs with pleasure. We moved from NYC to DE for a new position I was starting and Tony was professional and knowledgeable from the start. Since my wife and I were novices to the home buying world we needed an agent that would work with us as a partner and help us through the process. Tony was the perfect agent for us. He recommended attorneys and lenders that were equally as professional and responsive as he was. Tony was able to work with me as I was still in NYC and was able to schedule viewings that worked around our needs. He would pick up the phone at all hours and whenever you needed him. He was always reassuring and always transparent in what he was doing. He recommended options to take without being pushy and always let you know that it was under control. The whole experience went smoothly on our side and it was mostly because Tony was in our corner fighting for us. I would advise anyone looking for a home in this area to contact Tony for his help and expertise.

ZillowVERIFIED Tony was extremely helpful with the purchase of our home. He was very knowledgeable about how the bidding process worked with the seller and knew the area well. He was also very accommodating when it came to getting all the paper work complete even though we did not live close. Everything was set up for us, all we had to do was show up at lawyers office with the money. Things went very smoothly thanks to Tony's oversight of the process.
