ZillowVERIFIED When my wife and I were relocating to the Griffin-area, we wanted a home near downtown Griffin. We contacted Tommy and Michelle Allen in 2017 because they were selling homes in the area we wanted to move to. They showed us several homes in the area we wanted. What impressed us most was how accommodating they were. They weren't in our faces or pushy about buying a home. They let us wander around the houses and talk to each other and get a feel for each place. They were very open and honest about each house, but again, were never pushy. In our experiences, with salespeople, this is rare. They were so respectful and listened when we told them our story / financial situation. When we found out that we were going to need to put some money down on a home in the area we really wanted to move to, they were open and honest with us. We didn't have the money needed upfront to put down on a home at that time. Tommy and Michelle understood and never advised us to find some quick shortcut to get us to buy a home. They advised us to save and take our time if we had no way to get the money to put down. We were discouraged and uncertain about the future, but also thankful that Tommy and Michelle Allen were so honest with us. So we waited. The next year, in 2018, we sold our previous home and were happy to find that we had some equity to put down on a new home. We never forgot how great our experience was with Tommy and Michelle. We contacted them and after all this time, they were willing to help and THEY DID HELP. They helped us the find perfect home for our family EXACTLY where we wanted to be. They were always available every step of the way and advised us on so much. Again, they were always so courteous and respectful and never advised us on anything without giving us the honest details. Buying a house is a big step and can be scary. Tommy and Michelle really made the whole process a smooth and pleasant experience. Even after closing, they stayed and talked to us and let us know they were always around to help us with anything we need regarding the house. I can't say enough good things about their service to me and my family. We were truly blessed by them. I HIGHLY recommend Tommy Allen Real Estate.

I found this out because I called USDA and they confirmed this. Tommy will fight for you and get you the best deal on the market. I would highly recommend him when buying a home.

I had reached out to other agents before Tommy but none seemed real interested in doing much legwork.. ( A friend told me to check Tommy out) When I called Tommy, (the first time) he literally met me at the house i wanted to see within a couple hours. We looked at a few different homes in my price range but I would find just something wrong with them within a few minutes. He continuously stayed in touch with me about new listings, and he was always accessible when I needed him to meet with me. We finally saw one and from walking in the front door to a matter of a couple of minutes, I looked at him and said this is it. We knew the asking price was below appraisal and I told him, with complete trust he would do right by me, to use his expertise and offer what he thought was best as to not lose the deal. He even negotiated the closing costs to my benefit with the seller. I had a very smooth closing on Oct. 7th and all went well. I could not have asked for a better Real Estate Professional. Tommy was great to work with, very humble and a gentleman that I would love to see blessed to abundance for he is deserving. Kudos to Tommy Allen, I could not be happier with my new home!!

ZillowVERIFIED The process took longer than expected but that was not all due to the real estate agent. Tommy did a good job of selling our home but did not do a good job of finding us a home to rent. He said he would help find us a home to rent and we never heard from him on that except some bogus craigslist ads. I also saw where some houses for rent and Tommy commented on them and told the owners not to rent but to sell. I understand that you don't make money off of a rental but we are buying another home soon and that lost him a sale.

We went under contract within 2 months of listing. We wanted to be moved and settled in our new home for the coming school year and we achieved our goal. We had a few problems along the way and it was not the smoothest closing I have been a part of but the goal was accomplished and Tommy did everything in his power to make sure it happened. The only complaint I would have is that some times texting does not provide adequate information and a phone call is required - communication is the key.
