Low inventory and numerous buyers made for a tough experience. There were times when my husband and I wanted to give up, but Todd kept us going with his humor and understanding. After 7 rejected offers (but 2nd place finishers), we were able to land our dream home. Todds expertise in crafting an offer, as well as his and Marias negotiating skills, were what got us the house. ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I just closed, and we are so happy that we chose Maria from the Ruckle Team to be our buyers agent! We werent even sure that we were going to work with a realtor because we didnt want to feel like a salesperson was pressuring us. As soon as we met Maria, we knew that this process means SO much more to her than making a sale. Maria is not happy until YOU are happy. She let us know that we could be completely honest with her about our needs, our likes, and our dislikes, and that she was never going to pressure us. She is SO easy to talk with and made us instantly feel comfortable! We had a lot of questions as first-time home buyers, and there was also a lot that we would never have known to ask. In those situations especially, we could not have done without Marias expertise! For example, in one of the early houses we toured (and liked a lot!), she was able to tell just by sight that there were Polybutylene pipes in the basement, which she advised could cause problems down the line and possibly even make it more difficult to get homeowners insurance. I think that a different realtor might have just wanted to make the sale since we were enthusiastic about the house, but Maria went the extra mile and did not let us unknowingly walk into as situation that we couldnt afford to deal with later. She was able to anticipate issues that we didnt even know could arise, such as delays with our lender. When the lender was not keeping the ball rolling to get us to closing, Maria called them on our behalf (multiple times). When it came down to negotiations, Maria was assertive and did not back down until we were happy and our needs were met. We did have a suspenseful negotiation with the sellers when the home had a couple of defects that were important for us to resolve. They had received a statement from their contractor denying an issue with the house. However, Maria was able to determine that their contractor was not licensed in our county, and that we therefore didnt have to consider that statement as truth. My husband and I would never have been able to figure that out on our own, since the contractors website said that he WAS licensed, but our county government website did not. Maria saved us from what could have been a huge issue that we didnt have the money to fix on our own. She successfully got us the credit that we needed from the sellers to get the repair done. Even after closing, she has been helping connect us with local contractors to make sure that we hire the very best to do the repairs. She even connected us with someone to help us build a catio for our spoiled little cat! Please do not hesitate to choose Maria Ruckle as your realtor! Everyone deserves to have a realtor like Maria who fights for them and is invested in their future! Thank you so much, Maria, we couldnt have done it without you!!!

We bought our first home with Todds help, and he made the process nearly painless. He took the time to get to know each and every one of our needs and wants in a home, and he set up several tours to all different kinds of properties so we could get a feel for what was available in our price range. After each tour, Todd made sure he was clear on our likes and dislikes of each house we toured so he could get the most exact picture of what kind of house would be best for us.Todd is very knowledgeable, unlike younger agents that I have worked with. Todd clearly points out the pros/cons of all homes/communities/ upgrades / potential issues / school district.We spent many weekends with Todd and nearly purchased several homes before we found the ONE. Our criteria changed as we went along, and Todd went with the flow. Todd never made us feel like we were wasting her time. When we backed out of a decision to buy , he respected our choice. With his knowledge of the area we wanted to be in and his determination to find us our perfect first home. After several weeks of searching through listings and going on tours, we finally found the house we liked, and we knew the second we walked in the door that he had found our diamond in the rough and we couldnt make an offer quick enough. From the searching process through closing, Todd was there every step of the way, giving us all the information and advice we needed and responding to every one of our questions and concerns almost immediately.
