ReviewTodd Maxey is great to work with. We bought a house from him and sold a house to him for a quick sell. He does it all. He was beyond fair in his dealings. The companies he works with to do titles and surveys were excellent and easy to work with. And it was hard for us to meet outside the home so they made everything easy and convenient. I hope to tell anyone that mentions realestate to contact him. We could not have asked for a better experence buying or selling.

We have now used Todd to purchase our home in 2018 and then sell it in *one* day in 2021 at full asking price. Both times he made the process simple, fun, and enjoyable. He's quick to respond, handles all the scheduling, has an amazing photographer, is up-to-date with all of the latest technology, knows all areas from Bedford, to Franklin County, to Salem, and is delightfully straight forward! Review Todd helped us sell and buy a house twice both times were a pleasure . He made the process extremely easy. He scheduled the photos, inspections, and listing immediately then one day later we had an accepted offer on our house. Hes very efficient and timely. Both times we didnt know the areas and he knew everything like hed actually lived there. He was always immediately available to look at houses and we were usually the first ones to view and then his partner Nikki would have our offer in no time giving us a clear advantage in this market. With our loan process they always had required documentation in before the timelines or they were asked. I cant praise Todd enough hes the only realtor our family would recommend.

Review As a first time buyer, I had no clue where to even begin! Todd was instrumental in guiding me through the entire process with great ease. I cannot begin to explain how glad I was to ask for his assistance! He was always available when I had questions and was always willing to show me any house that I was interested in. Any time that I found an interesting listing, he would make sure to get the inside scoop as quickly as possible. Todd was never pushy and always gave me his honest opinion ... something that I am very appreciative of. He was extremely helpful in going over pros and cons of each listing as well. Todd kept me up to date on what was going on while my contract was pending and was helpful in making sure that I had all of my documents in order when deadlines were approaching. Review We first connected with Todd through a simple request to speak with a realtor about a property that we found on Zillow. Within an hour or so we received a call from Todd. We explained to Todd that we had been "Zillow Searching" for well over a year and vacationed to check out the areas that we found interesting. We found what we thought was the perfect house and property, but had some reservations as to how current the online information was since the property had been listed for several years. Todd went 'over and above' when he offered to visit the property the next day and send us current pictures. Later that evening Todd sent us a series of videos (even better than still pictures). The videos and further conversations with Todd confirmed our desire to pursue the property. We were so excited and interested that we made a special trip to the area and spent a marathon Saturday with Todd covering 7 properties and 250 miles. We narrowed the selection to our favorite 3 and Todd said we'd know in the morning. He was right! We knew for sure that initial Zillow find on Smith Mountain Lake was the home that wanted begin our next Chapter. Todd helped us to seal the deal during our drive back to New York. Sharing our excitement with family and friends made the 8-hour drive fly by! Todd and his team, Brenda and Melinda, were fabulous to work with - from start to finish and beyond. Since our purchase was remote, Todd provided extra support with visits to the property in our absence. We are now in the process of relocating and are happy to say that Todd, Brenda, and Melinda are among our new SML family and friends!

Review Todd showed my wife and myself a piece of mountain property in the RAIN. I was trying to shorten the viewing but, he remained steadfast and stayed as long as we wished. Not many people would do this, in my opinion, most would have been a no show. He wanted us to be completely satisfied with the process, we were. I feel confident, many will find the same from Todd. Try him, ask questions and I think that you will find the results satisfying.P.S. Were buying the property and he helped with the contract and negotiations as well. Todd's knowledge and the ability to know my concerns and being able to translate that to the seller, helped with the whole process and made the purchase............. enjoyable.

Review I want to share how impressed my husband and I am with the quick turn around on our first home Todd sold for us. We had it listed and 3 months later it was sold.
