ZillowVERIFIEDI found a house I was interested in on Zillow and was connected to Tim as an agent via Zillow to set up a showing. I had been working with another realtor and, as a first time home buyer, admittedly didnt understand that houses listed in NY are fair game for any realtor, so in Tims defense, I should have gone directly through the agent I had already been working with, but didnt know that I could do that. Tim showed up late to the showing. The realtor who listed the property was there on time to show us the ins and outs of the house and was very friendly, while Tim said barely anything, presumably off-put by the selling realtors presence, despite how helpful he was to us. When Tim messaged later asking me what we thought, I let him know I preferred to work with another agent. He proceeded to scold me via text about how I had wasted his time.

ZillowVERIFIED I was matched with Tim Spooner through Zillow in 2019. I was trying to buy a house in NY while living in Maryland. Initially, I wasn't sure how I felt about working with a randomly assigned realtor, but quickly I realized how lucky I was to have found Tim. He is a gem! His easygoing manner and genuine friendliness make him such a pleasure to work with. He is extremely responsive, thoughtful, generous with his time, and does everything he can to make the process go smoothly. We were able to get the house I really wanted for the right price, and Tim made it so easy for me even though I was out of town. Then, a year and a half later, my plans changed and I moved to the Midwest. I let Tim know that I might be putting the NY house on the market, and he quickly came back with interested buyers before the house was even listed. With his guidance and excellent people skills, we negotiated a deal that I was very happy with. Once again, he did everything he could to make the process go smoothly while I was out of town. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate Tim's kindness and competence throughout both transactions. He really looks out for his clients. Not only would I work with Tim again on future purchases and sales, but I feel as though I made a friend.

We saw a house hit the market and we immediately called Tim to put down and offer ASAP and he did so without any questions asked. ZillowVERIFIED Tim was an absolute doll to work with. From our first meeting to closing on our house and even after, he was there every step of the way for any questions we had (and trust me, we pestered him). We have Tim a general description of what we were looking for and after the first few houses not being what we needed, he set out on a search himself and told us to take a look at this property, one we never would have found on our own. So we did, and it was absolutely perfect. That house is now our home. I highly recommend working with Tim if you're in the housing market. You won't be disappointed. He is a great realtor and an amazing person.
