We ended up switching to Tim and Helen because of reviews we'd seen online for them, and we're SO thankful we did for so many reasons-- the best of which is that we're in a home!! The first day we worked with Tim, my partner and I got in the car and high-fived each other for making the switch. He's incredibly knowledgable about the areas we searched for homes in (Kirkwood, EAV, Decatur, Chamblee, NE ITP and Dunwoody), and he's a naturally friendly and honest person. Right out the gate, at our first home tour together, Tim started the conversation by pointing out major, expensive issues with a driveway that I would have never even considered. He knows what to look for and has great estimates of the range of costs issues would be to fix. That proved invaluable to us and really gave us the confidence we needed to make a decision on what home worked best for us. In this seller's market (and prior to working with this team), we were beginning to think we wouldn't be able to get a house, but Tim had great ideas for how to make our offers competitive without us having to break the bank. He was realistic and didn't give us undue false confidence, which we'd experienced prior to working with him and Helen. The honest takes and seasoned advice genuinely gave us so much more comfort in the stress that is the home buying process. Beyond the experience, I think the part that we liked best about working with Tim is the amount of time he dedicated to us. It never felt like Tim was trying to force us into a home or pawn us off on a house that he knew wasn't right for us. He clocked hours with us, answering a ridiculous amount of questions, spending every minute allotted to us on home tours (and then some), and taking calls or texts late at night. He spent time walking us through things like if he thought we'd need to install a French drain, where we could put a car charger, and things specific to our lifestyle. I highly recommend following the reviews and mitigating the stress of home-buying by working with this team. It's honestly the best decision my partner and I made this year-- so much so that we figured he deserved this long review!
