He helped us look at a few condos that we thought we were interested in seeing and was flexible when we did a 180 in what we were looking for. He was responsive to all of our questions about this unknown (to us) home-buying process and inquiries about places we saw online. At showings, Ted was great in his practicality and considering aspects of a home that we didn't think about. It was so helpful to have that extra eye when you have so many things you're thinking about in your house search. ZillowVERIFIED I sent an inquiry to the Koenig and Strey Chicago offices letting them know of my desire to start looking for a condo. The following morning I had recieved an e-mail from Ted who began to send me listings almost immediately after I gave him the details of what I was looking for. I wanted two beds, two baths AND a parking space in either Lincoln Park, Lakeview or Lincoln Square, AND close to the Brown Line. I was incredibly particular to say the least. Ted fired out listings day after day and I put a small list together of 8 to 10 condo's every other Saturday morning. Ted would pick me up from my current location (or meet me at one of the condos) and we'd spend the majority of the morning together going in and out of places. The good thing about Ted? He's a young and vibrant guy. He knows the surrounding Chicago areas, he knows what neighborhoods are safe for family, women, children, etc. He can put himself in your shoes, how many other realtors can say that? From the beginning through the end, Ted was there to help. He was with me during my first condo visit through closing at the title company. Also to note, the guy isn't afraid to speak his mind, if the place is roughed up, or needs work, he's not going to sell you that it's an "easy fix," he'll let you know his opinion, he's not going to sell you just to sell you. Last but not least? The guy treats you like a friend, not an employee. If you want full service, Ted is your guy, he understands the business, he moves quickly, and doesn't sit on items, he's a hard worker. When I need to put my place up and move on to a bigger property... Ted is my guy.

ZillowVERIFIED Ted is our hero! Although, he doesn't typically handle rentals Ted stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for us. He treated us as if we were his #1 priority even though we weren't looking for a home to purchase at the time. We were in the process of relocating from another state and had 2 days to find a place to live in a city that was almost completely unknown to us. We were stressed out, overwhelmed and even panicking a little over the relocation process because it was happening at lightning speed. I don't know what we would have done without Ted.We flew to Chicago for our 2 day house hunting trip. Ted picked us up from our hotel and took us all over Chicago. He shared tidbits of history and valuable information with us about the City. We scouted neighborhoods to figure out what was most appealing to us and looked at quite a few properties that Ted had found for us based off of our wish list.
