She reached out to my husband after he inquired about a house on Zillow, and we are so thankful she did! We viewed several properties via her website and was able to favorite ones we liked. From there, we just reached out to Tanya to view a few of the properties.She asked ALL of the appropriate questions when we looked at new builds ....questions that my husband and I had no clue to even ask had she not been present. It was evident at that time that she knew what she was talking about. Any time we wanted to view another house, she willingly scheduled a time with us. In addition, she thoroughly explained the home buying process to us and explained terms we did not understand. She was also readily available via phone when we reached out to her! She was able to get us basically aEURoefull-askaEUR? on our townhouse in Smyrna, after only being on the market for seven days. Her expertise and Marketings strategy is superior to that of her colleagues. I should know...I went through six agents and had my loft on the market for seven months prior to excepting an subpar offer. (Unfortunately, I did not know Tanya during that time). ??Tanya is extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable when it comes to selling homes! She recommended we get a Pre-Listing appraiser which we did. It made a huge difference in managing our expectations, as well as setting the correct listing price from the beginning. Our home closed within 30 days. And during that time Tonya was ALWAYS available and returned emails, calls and text promptly. Even after the sale of our townhome Tanya continues to go above and beyond! She even helped us with a Short term lease agreement. ZillowVERIFIED Local knowledge: I listed my price to sell $30K higher than Tanya who based hers on the past home sales comps, I based mine on current listings because of a seller's market and real hot location. Process Expertise: Can't rate as Tanya relies on her Assistant to handle her clients for her. Tanya's too busy doing other work. Responsiveness: Again Tanya cannot respond because she is too busy doing other work. Negotiation Skills: I did my own negotiating as the seller as well as the buyer. Apparently Tanya had no advice to offer. Responsiveness: Tanya unavailable to me as her client, always busy with too many other things, apologetic for lack of timely responsiveness, relied on her Assistant to handle my calls, what seemed important to me took a back seat. I found her on an ad so I called her because I found a home which she did check out but it wasn't listed. I took her up on her offer to list my home and again my experience was she pretty much was unavailable, relying on her staff to respond to me after they spoke to her. I prefer my Realtor considering me a client to respond to. I found the home I bought and negotiated myself to get it and again the process left much to be desired due to lack of response from Tanya. Tanya runs her business on the Team approach, I was not aware how that process works. I do understand volume to be the measure of success, perhaps not customer service and satisfaction. If that is what this business is I want no parts of it again. I prefer the Realtor / Client real relationship to this fast track method. Because I was pushed for time, Tanya had her Assistant help facilitate my move out day/ get to the closing to sell then closing to buy by asking her to stand in for me to oversee the movers out of the to sell home. I so appreciate this extra mile because that was not their responsibility. Doing it over, I don't want the Team I want a Realtor to do what they are skilled to do, communicate directly with me, not put me off in the back burner constantly telling me texting me they are busy will call me later then a text saying I'll call you tomorrow. My time is as valuable as anyone else's. I don't want such important financial decisions and transactions handled without "advice" from a Realtor, I want to verbally communicate with my Realtor or I cannot label the agent as "my agent". Maybe this will or will not help in this age of volume means money and money means success and customer service/ satisfaction is out the window.
