ZillowVERIFIEDSusan is absolutely terrific. She's very bright, experienced, open and honest. You get the feeling that she's in it with you - that she actually cares that you find a home or property that you are looking for and not just acting for the sale. One of my favorite things about her is that she's very detail oriented. As soon as you reach arrive at a property she's examining every inch and letting you know her opinion, good or bad. Her husband accompanied her on our tour of several homes and he also has great experience and input. Their attention to detail is incredible. I've been with other realtors that won't say a word, even if a place is terrible for fear that it might jeapardize a sale. I just want the truth and I want to hear the realtor's opinion. Having her (and her husband's) insight is extremely valuable and appreciated. I honestly can't say enough good things about her. I've dealt with realtors in several states and had some negative experiences, which really soured me on trusting them. In short, Susan is everything I had hoped to find in a realtor, I just didn't realize how rare it was to find something with those qualities. I also asked her if I could write a review, and wasn't prompted to do so. Susan and her husband are excellent people, and excellent when it comes to real estate. I'd use them again and would recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

ZillowVERIFIED As a first time home buyer, my fiance and I had no idea what to expect. We needed someone to take us under their wing and guide us through a stressful promise. Susan was exactly the person for us. From the very beginning, she listened to what we wanted and was extremely patient with us (even though our minds changed often). She provided excellent recommendations throughout the process and we truly valued her opinions. Her warm and compassionate demeanor yet stern and assertive negotiating "powers" make her the perfect realtor for ANYONE looking to buy/sell a home. If I could leave a 10-Star review I would!

ZillowVERIFIED I was connected with Susan through Zillow, and I could not have been happier. As a first-time buyer, I found that she was very helpful and informative throughout the buying process. We toured several homes, and Susan was quick to provide any and all information that I needed. The final closing process went through without a hitch, too.

ZillowVERIFIED Tara was wonderful. Communication and observations to our needs were spot on. She understood what we were looking for and helped us make informed decisions in buying our first home. Her team's connections with great lenders, estimators and all other services created an easy road in a time where so many stressful wheels need to be turning. Even down to having a great connection with the closing lawyers who were able to pull off a last minute submission it was a great experience. Thanks to all at Susan Abshire's team!

ZillowVERIFIED Susan helped me with the sale of my prior home and the purchase of a new home. In a nutshell, all aspects of her service were Excellent! She has extensive knowledge of the Raleigh area and the real estate market. She was able to establish a realistic plan to sell our house within desired timelines and also able to lead us toward our desired goal for our new home. She has a wealth of real estate tools to make this happen and we were very pleased with the outcome. She represented us both as our selling agent and our buyer's agent during this process, keeping our goals and desires her top priority. Again, a job WELL DONE and I would definitely recommend her for your real estate needs!!!

ZillowVERIFIED The Abshire team is absolutely amazing. This is the third home I have purchased and by far this was the smoothest experience I have had with a real estate transaction. If you are looking for a home in the Raleigh area, I strongly recommend using the Abshire team--I got exactly the home I wanted, in the area I wanted, and they make it easy.

ZillowVERIFIED Susan is an exceptional realtor! She is an absolute professional! What sets her apart for us, was her patience with a couple that really wasn't sure what they wanted when they started. We asked her to look at so many different homes in so many different areas and she just kept setting up appointments to show us whenever we asked and always met us with a smile! She has such a keen attention to detail, we always felt like we had someone in our corner fighting for us! She kept fine tuning our parameters until she found us the right home! We "officially" are glad the process is over like most people looking for a home, but we are also a little sad that we won't see our friend as much, she made the whole process so smooth in spite of us trying to mess it up! Thank you Susan!

ZillowVERIFIED My experience with the Abshire Team was terrific; I could not have wished for better. I was hunting for a townhouse in a very competitive buying market and never imagined they would find something that fit my needs in the short amount of time I had to move. There were several offers on the house, but thanks to , Lisabeth Tunell's speed and expertise, I got it and am now a happy Raleigh resident.

ZillowVERIFIED Purchasing a home in NC based on an online viewing of a home on a computer from CA can be risky, but Susan was fantastic. At the drop of a hat, she made herself available on a VERY short notice flight to arrange a viewing. She put together an offer that was accepted quickly. Her hard work of putting together an awesome team makes her extremely accessible and the best in the business! We cannot thank her enough. She has our highest recommendation in every category from clients who are not so easily pleased! Best buying experience EVER!

ZillowVERIFIED My home had been on the market for over a year. I was told by other realtors that I was asking too much and it would not sell unless I drastically reduced the price. When I contacted Susan Abshire she helped me settle on a reasonable price and it eventually sold. She also helped me stay calm during the selling process which took over 3 months to accomplish. She always responded to my question immediately which was important because I am not local.

ZillowVERIFIED We were extremely impressed with Susan and her sales team. We were attempting to sale our home in a short period of time in order to finance the new home we are building. From the beginning, Susan understood the stress we were under and helped us prepare the house for listing. Results speak for themself - had offer in under a week (for the full asking price). Susan is very easy to work with with, very knowledgeable of the real estate market, kept us updated throughout the process and made sure that everything was kept on schedule. We would definitely recommend Susan to anyone considering buying or selling a home.

ZillowVERIFIED I picked Susan at random when we started the relocation process to North Carolina. I called a couple Agents on a Saturday afternoon and Susan was the only one that called me right back and spent time showing us some houses on that Sunday! Susan was VERY patient with us as we tried to learn the area...she directed us to areas that would fit us and steered us from areas that would not. She is amazingly knowledgeable of the area and has amazing contacts.....we knew no one! Susan is someone I could call with question about things that didn't even have to do with real estate. She even gave us restaurant choices and how to get there while we were in town....if your looking for an Agent..use Susan! I would not hesitate to have her sell or help me buy again....Best Agent we have ever met! LOVE HER!!! Pam....New North Carolina resident

ZillowVERIFIED Susan was excellent to work with. We were relocating from another state and had very little knowledge of the area or where to look. Susan took the time to understand what we were looking for in a home and quickly pointed us in the right direction to the areas we would like and more importantly where to avoid looking. Her knowledge of the area is top notch. I would recommend her to family and friends in an instant!

ZillowVERIFIED As a closing attorney I have known and worked with Susan for almost 10 years. I have conducted closings for many of her clients and I can easily say that I see the difference that she makes. She takes the time to make sure they understand what is going on, so they come to the closing table informed and prepared. She puts 110% into getting her clients to a successful closing and that means helping them negotiate a good deal, taking care of inspections, and doing all the little things that count in the end. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone out there looking to buy or sell.
