Not having active relator relationships, we researched the highly rated agents in the McLean, VA area and found Steve and his team. Overall, it was a positive experience amidst the challenges COVID presented. Breaking down the process into four elements, let me share our impressions. 1) Engagement aEUR" When we reached out, Steve and his team came well prepared. They were ready to listen and understand, share insights and layout the process. All the subsequent follow ups by his team were timely and professional. 2) Preparation for sale aEUR" Tania Olsen, the agent assigned to us, was excellent in preparing the house for sale. That included aEURoestagingaEUR? (a painful process) and finding a contractor to make the needed repairs. She managed the entire process, and despite some contractor hiccups, the house looked great and was ready on time. 3) Selling the house aEUR" Partially due to COVID, the sales process was not what we expected. Tania was not present for any of the showings to aEURoesellaEUR? prospects on the propertys virtues. Her role was primarily as scheduler. It was only during the aEURoevirtual open houseaEUR? that an agent (not Tania) was present. 4) The close aEUR" Here is where Steve shone. He was on point throughout, and expertly handled the negotiations. He also helped again with contractors who responded in short order to address inspection items. So, would we hire him and his team again if we had to do it all over? Yes, we would, as their staging, marketing and closing skills led to a sale within 3 weeks.

They also have an amazing marketing plan and are well known through the DC metropolitan area as agents who clients and other agents enjoy working with because they are practical, experienced and provide reasonable advice. For the sale of my home in Mclean and the purchase of my new home (also in Mclean), Emily Oveissi at the Wydler Brothers acted as my agent. Emily was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, a great negotiator and provided sound advice. My husband and I had been looking at new construction for over 2 years. Emily started helping us in the spring of 2016 and not only did she show us available properties that fit within our requirements, she also was great about getting a lot of information about the new construction from the builder and information about the builder as well. When we found the right home and needed to act quickly, Emily came over on a Sunday evening, a few hours after we told her we wanted to submit a bid, and drafted the contract. Because of her good judgment and the style in which she delivers her advice, we took her suggestions and won the bid over two other bidders. Emily knew we needed to sell our current home as soon as possible as a result of the purchase of the new home.
