We ran across Steve several times as a seller's agent as he graciously showed us a few of his listings that caught our interest. There was no big conversation prior about how "it worked" since we didn't have an agent instead he worked hard as a sales agent for his client and viewed us as a solid opportunity to sell his client's house to. That was NOT the case in most other instances with other selling agents. They were more concerned about themselves and the buy-side commission. As time went on we continued to struggle on our own with low inventory and high prices and finally decided we ought to consider working with an agent. My wife and I independently and strongly both felt that Steve was head and shoulders above any other agents we had come across and believe me we met MANY!! This is not so much a knock on all the other agents we met...there were several others who were also professionals but Steve just offered more. He knows the market, knows the process...you ask a question esoteric or not and he knows the answer. ZillowVERIFIED Met Steve at an Open House. That house was not right but Steve listened to our Wish List. He followed up to show us a house that met our criteria but a lite too big and our timing was not in perfect alignment to pull the trigger. Over the next several months Steve made a suggestion to view a house he thought would be perfect, if it met with our timing. The house was exactly what we were looking for. But our house to sell was newly under contract. Steve artfully persuaded the Seller and her Agent to accept a contingent offer even though the contract on our house to sell had just been impacted that same day when the house next door was hit by lightening. After 6 weeks of uncertainty whether our house would close and some cold feet on the Seller's part we got through our "bumpable" contingent contract and closed on our new home.
