I have to confess, my wife and I have sold previous homes on our own to try to save money. That said, with this market we did not dare to do that. We would not have saved money at all in the long run. There is no way we would have been able to get the home we did without His (and his wife April) negotiating help. ZillowVERIFIED Stephen was not only super experienced and really friendly and fun to work with, but he went way, way above and beyond for us in so many ways. It was a really tight market and difficult to find any houses that suited our needs. There was one that came along that we weren't really sure about due to some legal issues involving the property. Without even asking him to do it, Stephen started looking into the matter and relaying to us anything he was able to find out. We ended up making an offer that was accepted and Stephen spent an extra two months on top of the normal one-month closing period advocating for us to the seller's to get the legal issues resolved before we closed. This was our first house purchase so we would have had no idea what to do and without Stephen's help and advice, would have likely had to deal with an expensive and time-consuming lawsuit later on. I know Stephen didn't need to do this because some of other agents involved in the situation were not nearly as enthusiastic about spending all of this extra time on the matter, especially in such a hot seller's market. We also have friends that have purchased lots of houses that told us how fortunate we were to have him on our side and how it's not that typical to find an agent that will work that hard for you. He just has that kind of work ethic and integrity that wants his clients to be really happy and satisfied long-term, not just long enough for him to make his commission. We will definitely be recommending him to everyone and using his services again in the future!

He is supper talented at negotiating the best possible price saving me tons of money.As an example. I had a house in Bellevue that Stephen sold. He was able to create such a buzz about the home that there were offers with $100,000 earnest money, a no ceiling escalator clause and all contingencies waived. No one has come close to selling a home for the same value and there are still calls from other agents to find out how he did it.At the same time the house I purchased when I sold the Bellevue house was on the market for $750.000. I wanted to pay full price. He wisely told me that he believed the seller would come down to $700,000. We ended up closing the deal for $695,000. This was a product of Stephen's sold negotiation skills.Lastly he was helpful helping me understand what work needed to be done to prepare the home for market. Simple little cost changes made all the difference in the world. Stephen held my hand through the process and understood my needs and even fears to manage all the deals and this made reduced the stress.
