    Stacy made our first, home purchase go as smoothly as possible! From our initial meeting, her level of professionalism and responsiveness stood out to us.     Is it my realtor's job to actively find me a home?

    Hi in Chattanooga! I have family close by and a realtor partner who works in your area, too. When I work with my buyers, I set up specific home searches based on my buyer's preferences with alerts to my buyers and I proactively search my network sources for homes that fit my buyer. I can only serve my buyer based on the clear criteria, good feedback and great two way communication.

    How do I cancel a list in agreement correctly?

    Review your listing contract's termination clause for notice and/or fees. Send written email referring to said clause and your intention to cancel. Request a signed mutual release from the agent/brokerage. Confirm your home is pulled off the MLS and lastly keep record of all communications.

    Can I sign a buyer agreement to see 2 houses?

    Looks like you have great advice from my colleagues in Indiana:). A "trial" buyer agreement limited by per showing or time period is like a dating period before marriage! Have fun and hope it is a great fit for your and your agent:).
