ZillowVERIFIED Let me tell you the story of how Stacy helped me buy my first home. I woke up early one morning, about 6 am, and got on Zillow to search for homes. I found the one I wanted and sent a message through this site. She called me around 9 am and asked if I wanted to see the property. We made an appointment and she gave me the number of the gentleman that would get me pre approved. At 11 am we met and I decided to buy the condo. We had until 4 pm that day to make an offer. She came up with a deal that won me the bid. I found my condo on December 5th, and by December 30th the deal closed. The team that she works with moves fast. I spent New Years Eve in my new home. ZillowVERIFIED Reviews are meant to show the full range of someone's service and abilities. When there are only positive reviews, it makes it seem like everyone is a superstar. We found our house ourselves online. We were told by another agent that we were "in good hands" with Stacy but overall, there was a lack of service and lack of humanity. She was definitely responsive, when it benefited her. She responded to our request to tour a house via video last year when COVID was still in full swing. She did not show us any homes or try to find homes that would be more appropriate. These days, very few realtors seem to do that at all let along well. Stacy was lucky because we decided to offered on the house 24hrs after we initially met. She didn't give much advise on negotiations, negotiated with herself the most. We have been in contact with her since November 2020 and each time, what fake sense of interest about her clients degraded significantly each time. When we look back on our tour, things that she didn't point out, although not critical, like partially finished flooring, incomplete drywall in the garage, trash in the attic, heavily wooded area, steep hill (she said it was slight), road noise, etc, all things that you would think any human who was viewing a property would mention, went ignored. When we did ask her for help, she did help, but with minimal interest or commitment. If realtors are really going to continue on this path, there is no wonder why realtor commissions are slowly changing. If we are paying someone to fill out paper work, a 5-figure fee, regardless of your knowledge, expertise, or customer service, I'll go out of my way to find another realtor next time to do the paper pushing for 4-figures and negotiate the difference with the seller ourselves. By the way, there are some states that don't require realtors for a transaction. If only we can find a real estate lawyer that we would use again. The one we used, recommended by Stacey, was terrible and the home inspector was mediocre.

By this point I was frustrated, not understanding the market and I live out of state which made it more difficult for me. She had some good advise, obviously knows her market and the photos she posted were well done. I felt they really showed my homes advantage points. I listened to her advise, reluctantly at first, but listened. Suddenly there were showings every week and I was able to get feedback from the showings which was very helpful. I accepted an offer in less than 2 months!! She handled everything up to the last minute of the sale, taking the stress off me. I contacted her through zillow last March having looked for someone who knew the area which my husband and I wanted to move to. We didn't know much about the area and certainly didn't know anyone. My goodness am I glad I found her! Not only did she give us some advice with the selling of our home (which was too far away for her to actually sell for us), but upon learning that we had initial wanted to build but had become frustrated with the massive amount of funding needed, she helped us find builders that could help our dream come true! We had a very tall wish list; several acres of land a house that didn't require a lot of renovation and a decent size. We didn't want to move again. She found several things that fit our wants and working around our odd schedules, got us in to see them right away. She listen very carefully to our likes and dislikes about each and once she realized we had wanted to build, got us in touch with a few builders to give us options. After a lot of back and forth with them we finally settled on a lot and a builder. As building a house is a long and stressful process, I really don't know how we would have done it without her. She went to bat for us all the time, making sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She practically become my therapist and after every stressful phone call I made to her where I would rant and complain about this or that, she would always fix the problem. I would not have wanted to put up with me! But she was always so professional, helpful and wonderful. She made sure we got everything we wants and did a lot of the stressing for me. I always knew if it was in her hands, it would get done. I really cannot say enough about how great she is. I never plan on moving again as we now have exactly what we wanted, but I would tell ANYONE that is buying or selling a home to call Stacy!
