ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Sonia was one of the best decisions I made. From our very first conversation, she was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me make the right decision, even though I wasnt sure if I wanted to sell my home in months or the next year. She actually found me by following up on a lead; and that tenacity she has, speaks volumes about her drive and then commitment to her clients. Throughout the home-selling process, Sonia was always quick to respond to my calls and messages. When I felt uncertain, she reassured me with confidence and helped me understand the ups and downs of the real estate market, including the challenges I might face. She never avoided difficult conversations and consistently offered honest, straightforward guidance so I could make informed decisions. What impressed me the most was how fiercely she advocated for me. Whether it was addressing contractor issues or catching important details that could have easily been overlooked, Sonia consistently had my best interests at heart. Her attention to detail and broad knowledge of the real estate process made what could have been a stressful experience much more manageable. I spoke with several real estate agents before choosing Sonia, but she was the one who followed up and made me feel the most comfortable and confident. Her dedication to her craft has left a lasting impression on me. If youre looking for a real estate agent who is steadfast and will truly advocate for you every step of the way, I wholeheartedly recommend Sonia. She goes above and beyond, and I couldnt have asked for a better realtor. Maurine E.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Sonia was our first great experience my husband and I have ever had in selling a home. The staging of our house was beautiful. Sonia sold our home within 3 days of our home being listed and in this market that alone tells you what a great realtor she is. We really enjoyed working with her. Thank you so much Sonia.

ZillowVERIFIED Sonia is very personable and knowledgeable! Once we made up our mind on our new home, she had the team in place to push thru the closing. Then she sold our former home! It was only on the market for a bit over a week! You can't go wrong with Sonia!!

ZillowVERIFIED Sonia was amazing. She really knows real estate and is very personable professional and energetic. Sonia helped us to think through a selling strategy, timeline and she was super supportive every step of the way. Sonia listed our house and we closed very near the list price in about 30 days. We could not be happier working with her and would recommend her highly to anyone in the Smoke Rise/Tucker/Stone Mountain/Lilburn area who wants an excellent realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED Sonia did a great job tracking down homes for me to see. I lived several hours away but she made time to meet with me on my schedule. She negotiated the buy and didnt back down from the seller or lender. She gets the job done.

Sonia was wonderful to work with. I needed advice on asking price and if improvements should be made to the house before it was placed on the market. She understood the housing market in my area perfectly and gave great advice but never pressured me to do what she recommended. She always made sure I was happy with the plan to sell the home.

Sonia was the ideal person to assist us in the selling of our home. Not only was she knowledgeable and professional, she understood our situation . We had lived in the house for over fifty years and had to deal with the problems that come with downsizing. She made great efforts to get us with the right people to assist us in any repairs, estate sales and moving. Most importantly she made great effort to show and sell our home and she was successful. We were very pleased with the total performance of Sonia and highly recommend her to assist anyone in their real estate needs. Ron& Barbara

ZillowVERIFIED I cant say enough about Sonia. Working as buyers agent she was right on each and every request for a showing, discerning and observant and objective. She didnt try to gloss over what might be issues impeding a sale and pointed out positives I might have overlooked. Once Id decided on a place it was full steam ahead, offering strategies and terms that helped me win the bidding without overpaying. Then on to closing quickly and efficiently. Shes a great negotiator, the perfect lady with a trace of bulldog when you need it! I never had to wait for a call back. She was always there to explain every step, to answer questions and get answers. Highly, highly recommend!

ZillowVERIFIED If there are angels on earth, Sonia is truly one of them! Sonia came into my life when my husband was in hospice and I wanted to downsize out of our large family home into a smaller home in Decatur. Sonia was available immediately and at our convenience to show me houses. When out of town family arrived, she met all of them, and showed anyone and everyone the houses I was considering on our unpredictable schedule. Sonia was caring and compassionate, but a truly investigative and knowledgeable resource. She negotiated for me, brought things to my attention that needed to be addressed, and walked me seamlessly through the home buying process. This was my first solo home buying experience and I cant think of anyone else I would want to guide and accompany me on this journey. Sonia is a 5 plus in her knowledge, responsiveness, negotiation skills, and expertise in the home buying process! And she is one of the most caring and compassionate people I have met!

ZillowVERIFIED Hiring Sonia Hellen was the best choice we made when moving to Decatur. We purchased a condo sight unseen and Sonia was our eyes and ears throughout the purchasing process. We were on PST, and she was available to us despite the time zone differences. She is an expert on the area and how to conduct business both during the purchasing process and after, with excellent suggestions on how to get settled in a new city. Sonia assisted representatives on both sides of our deal to determine what was needed to complete our closing in a 3-week time frame. Sonia is extremely skilled at her job and she is courteous and wonderful to work with. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

ZillowVERIFIED My siblings and I had Sonia sell both a house and vacant land for us. Multiple sellers, some of which are out of the country, added complexity to the transactions. Through all Sonia kept everyone on both sides of the transactions on the same page and informed of where we were in the process. Thanks so much Sonia!

ZillowVERIFIED Sonia is really amazing at what she does! We did two house offers. The first one was tough because we had too much competition. The 2nd house offer was our best offer! Send her an email and she will email you back asap. She goes above and beyond!

ZillowVERIFIED Literally the only agent who could have gotten us our perfect house. We were working on a very short deadline to find, buy and close on the perfect house in a market where houses were flying off of the market within 24 hours.Sonia found our family the perfect home, in the perfect location, and at an amazing price. She also made sure that all of the fixes and upgrades necessary were completed before close and by the sellar. We literally house hunted, found a house, put in the offer, got the inspection, had the minor repairs made, and closed on the house within 6 weeks. It was a whirlwind and there is no one who could have accomplished this feat. If you are buying or selling a house- Sonia is not only outstanding at her job and really looks out for her clients- but shes funny and witty and smart. Her personality made even the most stressful part of this move so much more fun!Sonia is your agent. Shes ours for life!

ZillowVERIFIED Sonia is hands down absolutely the BEST AGENT EVER!!! I would highly recommend her to assist you with your real estate transaction and there is no need to look any further. Believe me when I tell you this. We had a title issue which affected the sale of our home and Sonia was there to assist us, encourage us to stay positive and hung in there with us until it was SOLD! Any other agent would have bailed because it was a lengthy legal process. She stayed by our side and helped us find a new home construction. Again due to our legal issues it was not guaranteed that the builder would allow us to keep the contract in place, but WE HAD SONIA. She kept open communication with the builders's agent, encouraged them to hang in there with us and asked them to extend the contract date. THEY DID! It was all because of Sonia's professionalism, expertise in real estate contract language, knowing how to communicate to other agents and mostly WORK THE DEAL in YOUR FAVOR! She's trustworthy, patient, always available, has a ton of vendor contacts that can assist you and just an all around GREAT positive person. My husband and I are grateful to have been recommended to work with Sonia. She will NOT let you down. Sign the contract NOW to have her represent you. You will not regret it...we promise. Thank you Sonia for all of your help!!! You are simply the BEST!The Gandys
