Messages went unanswered for long stretches, updates were vague, and I often felt like I was the one chasing down basic information. When these concerns became significant enough that I wanted to end the Buyer Agency Agreement early, I requested a mutual written termination aEUR" something that the contract specifically allows. When I brought this to Simon, instead of addressing the communication issues or even acknowledging them, he immediately shut down the request. He stated that Coldwell Banker aEURoedoes not authorize releases except under very specific and rare circumstances,aEUR? yet could not point to any such conditions in the contract. They simply do not exist. The actual agreement clearly states that early termination is permitted with mutual written consent, but Simon refused to even consider it. The tone throughout the interaction was dismissive, uncooperative, and far from professional. He repeatedly ignored the plain wording of the contract, provided no explanation for his position, and showed little interest in resolving the situation fairly. His lack of transparency and unwillingness to engage in meaningful communication made the entire experience unnecessarily stressful. If you expect responsiveness, professionalism, and a branch manager who respects written agreements and addresses client concerns, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. My experience with Simon left me with no confidence in his leadership or his commitment to client service.
