We had an agent from a different company prior to Shawna who did what we believe is called "post & pray" along with not doing any research on sale in our area. We dealt with that agent for near our full 6 months. They wasted our time and could not sell our property in a market that normally sells a home in 60 days. We finally after a property nest door sold in about 60 days terminated our contract with this agent.A family friend recommended Shawna. We explained our situation to her. In three days she had the research done. Had the reason our property did not sell with the previous agent, gave us her opinion as to the steps we needed to take and a "correct" price range. We signed a contract and were off and running. Within "2 weeks" Shawna had a potential buyer lined up. Shawna knew how to "correctly market" our property, she has sources to reach out to that may be interested in properties as well as World Wide relocation companies. She does not wait around to see if an Internet listing gets hits. Her first hit turned out to be the individual who purchased our property. We just closed on 1/7/19 (total turn around form listing to closing 2 months). Although we did not get what we wanted for the property Shawna's research was fact based, complete and to the point. If our original agent had correctly informed us & marketed the property we most likely would have sold in a reasonable time and not had to take 4 plus months worth of losses.Shawna stepped in and saved the day for us. She was also able to refer me to a mortgage company that had the best rates and financing options (I still shopped around with local banks, etc.).
