FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
Thinking about buying a home? Whether it’s your first or your fifth, here are 7 essential steps every homeowner should take to make a smart move:
Clarify Your Why – Know why you're buying. Your motivation (space, schools, investment, lifestyle) will guide your decisions throughout the process.
Get Pre-Approved Early – Talk to a lender before you tour homes so you understand your true budget and can act quickly when you find the right one.
Location First, Upgrades Later – You can change the countertops, but not the neighborhood. Prioritize commute, schools, and lifestyle.
Think About Resale – Even if you’re planning to stay long-term, buy a home someone else will want too. Layout, light, and function matter.
Get a Thorough Inspection – Always inspect. Know what you're walking into and use it as leverage for repairs or negotiation.
Plan for Extra Costs – Budget beyond the purchase price. Factor in closing costs, moving expenses, updates, and a buffer for surprises.
Be Ready to Walk Away – The right home should feel right on paper and in your gut. Don’t settle out of emotion or pressure.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Selling your home? Here are 7 smart steps every seller should take to attract strong offers and avoid sitting on the market:
Price It Right from the Start – The longer a home sits, the more buyers wonder what’s wrong. Use data, not emotion, to set a competitive price that reflects today’s market—not last year’s.
First Impressions Matter – Curb appeal sells. Clean, declutter, and stage to help buyers picture themselves living there. Small touches (fresh mulch, new light fixtures, a deep clean) make a big difference.
Know Your Competition – Buyers are shopping you against other listings. Walk your neighborhood, review similar homes online, and be honest about how yours compares.
Work with a Pro Who Knows Strategy – A great agent helps you position the home, market it right, handle pricing psychology, and negotiate smart—not just throw it on MLS and hope.
Make Showings Easy – The more flexible you are with showing times, the more buyers will come through. And yes—leave the house. Buyers talk more freely when you’re not there.
Disclose, Don’t Guess – Be upfront about known issues. Trying to hide flaws can backfire in inspection or escrow and erode trust.
Be Willing to Adjust – If feedback or traffic drops off, listen to what the market is telling you. A small price adjustment early is often better than a big one later.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
With over 3,600 clients under our belt, we have seen it all. From Sellers moving from their 10th home, to Buyers moving up or down, Seniors moving into an over 55 community, new construction consultation on a new home, investing in single family or multi family opportunities or first time home buyers. If you are a positive person who wants a proactive team and a strong negotiator, we are the team for you.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
Absolutely! Here's the revised version without the long dash marks:
---
**Meet Sarah and Marcus.** They were ready for their next chapter: a bigger kitchen, a backyard for their kids, and a home that felt like a better fit for how they were living now. The only catch? They had to sell their current home first, and quickly.
They were nervous about the timing. “What if we sell and have nowhere to go?” “What if we find the perfect home but can’t move fast enough?” They didn’t want to feel rushed, but they didn’t want to miss out either.
That’s where we came in.
We sat down and built a plan that gave them clarity, control, and options. We helped prep and price their current home to sell fast without leaving money on the table. At the same time, we got to work identifying potential next homes that could line up with their timeline. We even found a couple of listings where sellers were flexible on timing, which gave Sarah and Marcus more breathing room.
As soon as their current home hit the market, we had strong interest. Within days, we had multiple offers and within a week, we were under contract. Because we’d already identified several great options for their next home, they were able to confidently write on the one they loved most, and we helped negotiate favorable terms that aligned both closings smoothly.
In just a few weeks, they went from worried about the “what ifs” to moving into a home that checked every box.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
I went from working on Madison Avenue for DDB New York in Advertising to Real Estate to support my parents and a dad who had Parkinson's. That was in 2004 and we never looked back.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
Anyone can pay for classes, we believe you to walk the walk. We own multiple properties, actively invest and work on remodels, keep on top of design trends, network for the best deals for our clients and are lifelong learners. We have all of the awards and credentials but more importantly, we beat the streets every day to help our clients.

Randy & John were fantastic to work with. This was our first experience with selling a home and our second with purchasing one, and they completely redeemed our prior experience of working with another realtor. They were patient, took the time to know us and all our needs, had all the knowledge or did whatever it took to find answers, and were so kind through it all! We completely trust their negotiating skills and competencies; they handled difficult sellers and buyers with so much grace but complete firmness, and we would recommend them with no hesitations whatsoever. Any time we had our own questions or were unsure about things, they never pushed us to quick decisions and pressed us one way or another, but they also stepped in to give us more information instead of sitting back and making us work through things alone. We are so grateful for their help - call them now so you can have the best experience, too!

Working with Brian & John was truly an exceptional experience. I was still living in California while purchasing my home in Texas, and they made the entire process smoother than I ever imagined. Their professionalism, patience, and dedication went far beyond my expectations. What stood out most: Attentive: They listened carefully to what I wanted and always looked out for my best interests. Communicated Well: I never felt out of the loopaEUR"they kept me updated every step of the way. Completed Virtual Showings: Since I couldnt be there in person, they handled virtual tours flawlessly, giving me full confidence in my decisions. Would never use another team: Their service was so exceptional that I honestly cant imagine working with anyone else. If you're looking for a team that delivers top-tier service, especially from afar, Brian & John are the absolute best. Highly recommend!
