We bought some land in May, expecting to build on it, but when life circumstances changed and we could no longer pursue that option, we had to turn around and sell the land only 3 months later. Every realtor we spoke with warned us that the land wouldn't sell, that we'd have to sit on it for a year or more, and that we'd lose money on it when we did sell it. Scott was different - he was very positive and encouraging from the beginning and was confident he could sell our land. He was the only agent we spoke with who actually went and looked at our parcel. He had good reasons for all of his thought processes and approaches to it. We listed it with him and closed on it only 6 weeks after listing it. We didn't lose money on the deal and it sold much faster than anyone else thought it would. Throughout the process, Scott was very responsive. Whether we called, texted, or emailed him, we never waited more than a couple of hours max to hear back. Would highly recommend! The process was lovely.

My wife and I had not required a real estate agent in 32 years, when we bought our first house. When a house we have been eyeing for 15 years went on the market, we had to move quickly. I literally did a google search "best real estate agents in Columbus, OH", and Scott was at the top of the list. Having not been in the house hunting game for decades, we needed someone to do some hand-holding with us through everything, and Scott was just fantastic. He was very patient with us and explained everything that would happen, and gave us great advice every step of the way. There was never a question that he was an advocate for us, and only us in this transaction. He answered emails, texts, and voice mails extremely quickly, regardless of the day or the time. We tried not to take advantage of his ultra-availability, but there were a couple of times after hours we had a question, and there he was. Scott's guidance, along with having a fantastic seller, made our home purchase very smooth. Needless to say, Scott will be representing us to sell our former house. I can't recommend him highly enough.

ZillowVERIFIED Scott was a consummate professional throughout the sale of our home in Powell. From our first time meeting Scott, we were sure he was the realtor to work with. My husband and I were relocating out of Columbus OH for a new job on the east coast. We needed to vacate the property before the sale of our home and were quite concerned about having a realtor who would be able to keep an eye on the property. Not only did Scott easily surpass expectations in that regard, but he also upkept the property as well - doing some landscaping and some modifications to parts of our home that needed fixing. He also met with us several times leading up to the sale of our home and provided frank and clear advice about investments we could make early on that would add significant amounts of value to our home when we listed it. Since many of the upgrades were being done after we had moved out, Scott stopped by to check on the contractors throughout the renovation process - ensuring that all of the projects were being done correctly and completely. He was also very easy to get in touch with. Whenever we had a question (or needed some reassurance to calm our nerves ... ) Scott always promptly replied. When it came time to list our home and sell it, he knew exactly what we needed to do in order to generate interest and offers. Our home was only on the market about 3 days before it sold - and in a market that was beginning to tighten up due to interest rates, that is no small feat. Scott is an expert who loves the industry and knows the Columbus (and mid Ohio) area extremely well. We cannot recommend Scott enough if you are purchasing or selling a home in the Columbus OH metropolitan area.

ZillowVERIFIED We've lived in our home for 34 years and had watched the local market rise for the past couple of years. Due to job changes and not having any family nearby, we decided it would be a good time to relocate closer to family, so we made the decision to sell our home. After meeting with a couple of realtors, we decided to have Scott and his office represent us. Why Scott? He impressed us with his knowledge of the area and the local market. He knew the neighborhoods and what buyers were looking for. Of all of the realtors we interviewed Scott spent more time getting to know our property. He asked questions about things and made some suggestions (one realtor didn't even bother to look in the basement). When we received Scott's Marketing Analysis and Comparables, his was much more detailed than the others; he really does his "home"work.After deciding on Scott we agreed to list. It was a week before Thanksgiving and going into the holidays we anticipated a slow process but we started receiving showing requests immediately. We'd have a couple every weekend and with Christmas approaching we expected nothing but we continued showing. We even received an offer but it didn't work out. Two days after New Years it really heated up and the first week of 2021 we received not one but TWO offers the same day. Both were much lower than we wanted and we conferred with Scott. He took our counter offer back to the other realtors and one came back right in our range and quite a bit more than what we had made our minimum range.We walked away with more than another realtor said our home was worth; proof Scott understands the market more than some other local realtors.Scott was always quick to respond and since this was the first time we'd ever worked with a realtor (this was our first home and we built it) he always made us feel like we were important. We were customers and to him we were important and never a nuisance. Anytime we'd call to ask a question or advise he was patient and polite (as was everyone on his team). One other note; since we were relocating to another part of the state, we asked Scott for a referral for an agent to help us buying a property. He didn't let us down, our other realtor is also doing a terrific job.We can't say enough about how appreciative we are of Scott and the Ringer Group.
