ZillowVERIFIED Sarah does not have the patience to be a seller's agent particularly for an elderly client. Specifically on several occasions she attempted to schedule showings when we said we could not leave. She was constantly wanting us to leave our house which is very difficult for us and then became very pushy and impatient if we refused. If any issues or problems arise or if you disagree with her way of doing things, she will quit. She had unreasonable expectations for showings which we could not meet. Then the first time we asked her for help regarding an inspection issue she replied with "nothing is easy" and then quit. If you're a seller and your home is unoccupied and has zero defects, or if you just want a buyers agent to show you around, she's your gal. Otherwise steer clear.

ZillowVERIFIED I have known Sarah for nearly 25 years, having bought a number of Bethany Beach properties in the early 2000s where Sarah represented me. I've become active in the Bethany Beach market again and engaged Sarah to represent me on a recent purchase. Sarah is a great communicator, understands the buy/sell game, and completely checks all the basics boxes you'd want in an agent. That's basic stuff. What Sarah brings is a whole other level of competence and expertise. Sarah is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the Bethany Beach market, Sarah understands better than anyone the details of owning a specific property in various areas of the market and what a particular buyer should consider as they think about a specific property (i.e., potential added costs/expenses, restrictions on improvements, possible resale issues, types of buyers in a specific area, etc.). She takes the intimate knowledge she has, applies that to her search for potential properties, and then advises you in detail on all the positives and negatives of a potential property. Sarah then adds to that a capability that I believe many agents lack - she LISTENS, I mean REALLY LISTENS to what your priorities are (size, location, age, price, etc.) and then continues to remind you of them during the search entire process. It really is a custom, professional approach, one that I would suspect most of her competitors are NOT delivering to their clients. Sarah is all about the client and NOT the sale. You can really sense her drive to deliver for you. She's a real pro.

She took the time to understand what we were looking for in a new home and how much we were looking to spend. She then sent us multiple listings on a frequent basis aligned to what what we wanted in a home within our budget. We lived out of the area, and when we came for a day of house hunting, Sarah was prepared with several different options - not too little nor too much that would be overwhelming. She did not try to persuade us in any direction; letting us take the lead on what we liked and didn't like. We did find a house that day, and Sarah provided the right level of support in working with the other agent. The part where Sarah showed how valuable she is as our agent was during the time period from initially signing the contract to purchase the house until after way after settlement and the actual move-in. We bought a spec house and there were some issues with the house being ready on time. Sarah went out of her way to be our advocate and make sure the builder was owning up to its responsibilities. She kept us informed and it was obvious that we were a top priority. Sarah is extremely responsive and I knew I could count on her to have our backs.
