ZillowVERIFIEDMy wife and I recently moved to Newport News from Hawaii. Not only were we purchasing our home sight-unseen from across the world, but it was during one of the strongest seller's market we've seen in decades (not to mention COVID-19 restrictions). This caused a lot of reluctance and hesitancy from my wife and I. We were so lucky to have Sherry Martin as our buyer's agent. She is an expert in the Hampton Roads market, and the business of real estate transactions. She was incredibly responsive (which I have a high standard for), gave us honest and forthright feedback about the property we were interested in, and left us no surprises about our property. I've worked with real estate agents in the past who are slow to respond, only interested in closing their next deal, or in the worst case are outright dishonest. Sherry has the highest levels of integrity and professionalism and I whole heartedly recommend her.

ZillowVERIFIED Full service real estate experts! Answered ALL questions and inquiries in a very timely manner, provided excellent advice on negotiating necessary repairs vice aesthetic/frivolous asks, and even assisted in finding and scheduling service professionals for various repairs (HVAC & plumbing). Sam also spent the time to educate us on which repairs required a general or specific contractor vice a handyman and negotiate the appropriate request; saving us thousands of dollars. Sam was always aware of what step of the process we were in an followed up/tracked status--we never felt lost-in-the-shuffle or like we were one-of-many clients.

ZillowVERIFIED Sherry and Sam have a very good system in their company which allows them to concentrate on meeting the needs of their clients. Sam handles all property sales and Sherry works with people looking for property. Sherry listened to what we were looking for and set up a mls search to keep us appraised of new properties as they hit the market. I would highly recommend Sam and Sherry and their organization for your realty needs.

ZillowVERIFIED Sam, Sherry AND their assistant Robin went above and beyond for us with the purchase of our new and first house! From the very beginning, they were warm and friendly and truly made us feel like they had our absolute best interest in mind. They answered questions truthfully, went out of their way to stay in contact with us daily and made the entire process simple, enjoyable and memorable. We are so happy that they played such a big part in the biggest, best and most exciting decision of our lives! We would absolutely 110% recommend them to anyone looking to buy/sell a new home. We are forever grateful for them and consider them a part of our family now. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for all your guidance throughout this whole thing!

ZillowVERIFIED We've known this team since 2006 and they were phenomenal helping us find a beautiful house in VA. They've sent my kiddos and us parents bday cards and we've exchanged Christmas cards over the years. And now...almost ten years later...they are still helping us as they referred us to a great realtor in another area and Sherry continues to keep up with us to ensure we're well taken care of. You WILL NOT find a better team. Thanks to this super couple for being phenomenal at their jobs and just straight up wonderful human beings. :)

ZillowVERIFIED Sherry Martin is the BEST! Sherry was very personable and never made us feel rushed. BEFORE we met Sherry, other "real estate agents" would rush us, or try to push us to buy a home, and sometimes it would get really awkward being in the same room with them because they make it known that we are wasting their time. Sherry Martin NEVER made us feel that way and we are glad that we ended up choosing her to represent us. Sherry Martin was patient, positive, and always willing to help. We still have questions now that my wife and I call her about and she has no problem doing the research and making sure that we are taken care of. Sherry is part of our family and as a young married couple we trust her to find us a nice home in a great area and she did just that! We would recommend Sherry Martin to EVERYBODY! Whether it is buying or selling real estate, Sam and Sherry Martin will get all of our future business.

ZillowVERIFIED Sherry and Sam are a great team and helped my family find out new home! Sherry listened and understood all our needs and worked hard to find the perfect home. Sherry is an expert in her field and was always available to see a house, answer questions and to guild us on our pursuit. Without the efforts and knowledge of Sherry and Sam, we would not be in our new house today!

ZillowVERIFIED After taking the house off the market due to no interest, Sam contacted me and indicated he would be able to sell it quickly. The first agent had the house for a year and there were VERY few people to even look at it. Sam visited the house, made a couple of good suggestions of inexpensive improvements that we w should make, had a person who was able to do the work for us, and within a short time the house was sold. We are living 3 hours away and Sam was great about keeping in touch, and taking care of the details. We are very grateful to him for his efforts.

ZillowVERIFIED Sherry Martin was such a blessing helping my husband and I find our new home. She was very knowledgeable, up to date on the market values, realty laws and the whole scope of the home buying processes. Our closing was long and drawn out due to no fault of our own and Sherry fought for us to make sure all of the proper paperwork was being completed by all parties to help expedite our closing process. I can honestly say, if it had not been for Sherry and her team, I may not have been enjoying this beautiful home that we have today. I highly recommend her service and am grateful to have met her.

Sam advised us well from the moment we met him, and with great professionalism took us through the entire process very smoothly, including helping us with the attorney. We live out of town, and Sam went out of his way to help us out. He was always very easily reached by phone or text. We are very thankful we hired Sam Martin as our Real Estate Agent!

ZillowVERIFIED Sam is actually a 10! From the first phone call I was impressed. Sam just sold our "family home", his understanding, patience, communication and guine interest overall was most impressive. He is very knowledgeable of what was listed and selling in the area and consistantly updated me on showings. Sams recomendations were spot on and his light and airy disposition made a very sad event much easier to deal with. Thank you Sam, and Sherry for doing such a great job! I highly recommend you give Sam a call.
