We came to the Chicago area for work and didn't really know a thing about living here, but Sabine made us feel right at home when looking to buy a house. We found a wonderful house in Bolingbrook for the right price that fit all of our needs. We knew we wanted the western suburbs and her expertise of the area was fantastic when searching for our new home. We came from a state that didn't require real estate attornies and were taken aback upon learning of them, but it didn't matter because Sabine had a recommendation that proved to be a great option. In fact, we went with all of Sabine's recommendations; the attorney, home inspector, and our mortgage lender. My parents had also used her expertise to sell two homes and had only good things to say about her, so when I was ready to buy a home there was no question, I would be using Sabine, and I'm so glad I did! When we first started looking we had a maybe (definitely) unrealistic budget and we went to see some homes that really should have been condemned but not once did Sabine complain, and took us through all of them. We always felt like we were a priority, even when we were on our way home from viewings and saw another place on Zillow and she took us that same night even though she was on the way home from showing us places. She took all of our wants into consideration and when we did find a home in Downers Grove, she made the house buying process as smooth as possible. I enjoyed speaking with her on the phone and then saw the property with her. I later decided to work with her for my entire search. Sabine Rolnick is professional, optimistic, encouraging and patient. I backed out of potential purchases twice after problems were found on inspection. Sabine always encouraged me to do what was right for me, not to worry about her. She wanted me to be happy with my purchase. After finding a new home, I was so pleased that I asked her to sell my home in Westmont. I thoroughly enjoyed selling my home with Sabine Rolnick, PhD. Sabine always kept me fully informed about showings. I felt as though I was her only client. She was always positive, despite some setbacks. The first inspection of my home revealed mold in the attic. She immediately phoned someone licensed to remove it, and had it back on the market quickly. I ended up getting an even better offer in the next round. Sabine was always prompt, professional and positive. She was very complimentary of my design style. I did not believe my home needed staging, but she politely encouraged me to use the stager she provided. Her stager had excellent suggestions, which made my place seem more appealing and "roomier". There was never a moment where I wondered what was next. She prompted us through each step and made it extremely easy. Her confidence and organization allowed us to make the smoothest transition possible. Sabine did an incredible job marketing our home in Bolingbrook. She gathered helpful feedback to clue us in on how the showings were going and hosted successful open houses. Once we got an offer, she was incredibly supportive throughout the negotiation process. We feel that Sabine is trustworthy and is someone whom we can be open and honest with, which is extremely important in this line of work. My wife and started looking into the Western Burbs a few years ago without really knowing where to look :) Sabine introduced us to Downers Grove and gave us all the insights regarding schools (we have small kids) proximity to everything as well as property value versus asking. My wife and I are very picky with a long aEURoemust have listaEUR? so we anticipated spending every weekend with her going from house to house. She sent us a list with 4-5 houses that checked all of our boxes so we ended up making an offer after only our second visit. She took care of all negotiating and had pulled comp. reports prior so we ended up paying 35K less than asking. I will use her again should we ever decide to move :)
