1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
You will want to work with a REALTOR that knows the marketplace. Buying a home is a huge investment and local expertise is crucial. My team and I are all from the area and have over 61 years experience.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
You will want to work with a team. Teams are now the real estate trend and the reason is because of knowledge and speed. My team has agents all around the Richmond area so we know the marketplace. Today a buyer wants to look at homes ASAP so you want to have a team ready to show your home at all times.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
We work with all buyers from 1st time home buyers to Retirees. My team and I have buyers looking in the entire Richmond and surrounding areas. We are ready to show homes at anytime which is also great for out of town buyers coming to view homes and see the area.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We get a lot of clients who have fired their previous listing or buyer agents because of poor or no communication. We are great at continually keeping in touch with our clients. I recently listed a home that another realtor had for 6 months. They had a total of 4 showings and no feedback from their agent. We have had it listed for less than a week and have had 9 showings and 2 offers. My seller's and I have talked before and after the listing countless times on the phone. Her words to me were "I wish I would of called you 6 months ago"!
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
Originally, I went to school to be a real estate appraiser. I decided to get into sales as I love working face to face with people. 20 plus years later I still love working with people and selling homes.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I have consistently been one of the top performing agents in the Richmond and surround areas (Top 1%). Just like your personal CPA, Doctor or Attorney, there is no better training than being battle tested with years of experience. I bring this to the table and this very important since there is a lot of part time and new agents in the real estate industry. A lot of times I have to help other agents do their job to make sure my clients make it to closing.
