Anytime we asked to see a house or get info on a house, he jumped right on it. There was never any hesitation on anything. He was completely honest and upfront about the way the house looked in person. He and his partner, Sue, really made buying a home from 2700 miles away very easy and made us feel very comfortable going through with the purchase without seeing the home first. We can't say enough good things about him and we will definitely be using him again when we sell our home in a few years.

Even though we listed in a buyer's market and had a very unique house and circumstances, Ryan stayed positive all the way through our listing/selling. They used creative marketing techniques and held relevant open houses and we never had any doubt in them. Ryan cares about his clients and it shows. ZillowVERIFIED Ryan and Sue helped us sell our house eventually. Most of the process went smoothly but towards the end of closing the deal they pushed us to do things we weren't comfortable with. Additionally they withheld information from us on additional repairs that we had to pay for and continued to just push to sign everything to close it out. They also authorized the additional repairs without our written consent costing us $1,200 just so they could close. They decided to do what they thought was best for us without full disclosure and our consent. If you use them make sure you are asking lots of questions and getting all the information from them, not the filter information which could cost you more without knowing.

ZillowVERIFIED most agents are 3P: place an ad in MLS, place a yard sign and lockbox and pray a buyer coming , Ryan and Sue Sanders are NOT those agents. They mail out postcards to Hampton Roads, finance staging , open house almost every Saturday and Sunday and invite other brokers and agents to my house for a "party". They get results: sold my house very quickly after 3 previous agents ( myself included, did a 3-month sting of sell-by-owner) empty-handed for 8 months. Hardworking and dedication, along with expertise pay off. You will compare the value even if you just shop for a kitchen table, why not do your due diligence if you want to hire a listing agent?
