I clearly stated what I was looking for, yet I continued to receive information and options I had already said I wasnt interested in. I was also told a specific time frame for when an agent would reach out, and that commitment was not met. Additionally, during a phone call there was excessive background noise. I brought it up at the time, but it was ignored. When conducting calls, especially with customers, this should be handled more professionally. Overall, the lack of clear communication and follow-through was disappointing.

On one deal when the builder was not performing to satisfactory standards, Roman was quick to professionally but assertively addressed my concerns with the builder and provided them with acceptable options on how they could remedy the situation. Roman is highly experienced and has great connections with other professionals who can help with the home buying or selling journey. I would never think of using anyone else but Roman and his team.

Once I found some homes I was interested in we looked at all of them and he was there every step of the way. He was able to recommend a mortgage broker after the one I was working with did not meet expectations. He was also able to negotiate a new roof onto the house we were purchasing after the inspector he recommended found hail damage. Overall he is an amazing agent that I will not hesitate to recommend! 10/10

When purchasing a home, I asked Clarissa for a video tour but she could not accommodate that. She then went ahead and told me to offer $20k over asking. I disagreed to do this and offered $10k over asking. She advised that I accelerate the inspection period. Good thing I was able to visit the location myself and do my inspections within a few days very quickly to catch all the issues. My experience with her as my agent was a total disappointment. I would NOT recommend if you are trying to buy a home in Austin.

ZillowVERIFIED Too many corners cut!!I hired Roman Lopez to find a tenant for the rental house I just bought. The very first application they received they sent to me - the guy declared his income to be $0, and when I questioned it, they said that they talked with him and that he was a web developer that just sold his company. I reluctantly agreed, since I wanted the place rented ASAP. Big mistake - the guy had warrants out for his arrest, and his "emergency contact" was his estranged wife who had a restraining order against him and was not legally able to sign a contract. Roman never called her or did any sort of thorough background check. The guy is now in jail, and his girlfriend is renting my house out on Airbnb without my permission - they haven't paid rent in 2 months, and while they're making $263/night on Airbnb, I'm stuck paying the bills while waiting for the eviction process to proceed. My mistake - I trusted that Roman was a professional and knew his business - he just wanted to make a quick buck.

Let me start by saying when me and my wife first met Roman we told him we were thinking about selling our home and he got on it right away, then about a week or two into the process we told him we wasnt going to sell and he was ok with that and to keep in touch with him so about a year past and we decided to sale because we were thinking about moving out of state. ZillowVERIFIED If you want a local professional to find you a home, Roman is your guy. Roman knows the local market really well, he's extremely professional, he is always available and fast to respond to any message or call, and he listened and understood exactly what I was looking for while we viewed homes. I think my favorite part is just how responsive and available he was for viewing homes. I must have viewed a million before finding my home, and Roman was always happy to keep the search going, even when I was exhausted from looking. All of the homes he showed me were in my price range and what I was looking for, I'm just really picky! He continued to meet me at all times of the week to show me homes until I found the home I purchased. He's also really well connected, from loan officers to new property sales managers, and even later when I ended up leasing out my home. He even had a great general contractor that did some work for me around the house (like stringing lights and hanging TVs). I plan to sell and re-buy in 2 years and I will definitely contact Roman as soon as I do!
