ZillowVERIFIED I wish I could give Robin more than 5 stars for every category! We were recently in a somewhat unique position - we were given the chance to buy the Ballard house we had been renting, but we weren't sure if that was something we wanted to do. We found Robin through a (very strong!) recommendation from a friend, and we instantly knew we had found our forever realtor. Robin took on three roles for us simultaneously: 1) working as if we were going to buy our current house off-market, 2) working as if we were going to buy a new house on-market somewhere else, and 3) advising us on the market, helping us compare options 1 and 2, and acting as an endlessly patient sounding board for our constant questions and indecision around which way to go. In the end, we decided to buy our current house. Because it was an off-market sale, the sellers wanted to lower both agents' commissions. We wanted to push back, because Robin had done more, not less, in these particular circumstances. But Robin said not to bother; she refused to stand in the way of us getting a phenomenal deal. And a phenomenal deal it was! When our mortgage company sent an appraiser to the house, they told us that Robin had achieved something they rarely see in the Seattle area, let alone in Ballard - she had secured a final price that was for LESS than what the house is actually worth! All in all, Robin was insanely knowledgeable, always available, extremely communicative, endlessly patient, and above all just the most kind and selfless person. We would recommend her to absolutely anyone, and will not hesitate to work with her again in the future.

First, she is very knowledgeable about the Seattle area housing market because she has been doing this for many years. During showings she had useful opinions and input about each place or neighborhood. Next, when it came time to write offers, Robin was willing to write up whatever terms I wanted, but she also offered valuable advice on what she thought would be competitive and earn the win. We had a situation with a bad inspection after mutual acceptance and Robin was totally on my side with cancelling the contract and keeping looking for a better home. On the house I did purchase, Robin kept up contact with myself and the seller's agent to make my offer attractive and keep the closing process smooth. It is hard to know how to describe how amazing Robin is - she is fantastic along so many dimensions. We've bought and sold houses with fancy real estate start-up companies that are burning cash, the experience was terrible compared to working with Robin. She is the real deal. Here are a few aspects of why she's so great: *She has a JD and therefore has an unusually good grasp of real estate law *She is a fantastic negotiator who other agents know and like - she wins for her clients in competitive situations, but in an honest and kind way *She has an AMAZING network of service providers - from specialist mortgage companies (saved our bacon in a complicated situation) to under-the-radar but fantastic contractors. *She delivers when it counts. She and her team led a complex renovation on a property we were selling, from design to bidding to execution. I barely lifted a finger and while issues came up, Robin and team managed them wonderfully. *Compass is a far better company than other real estate groups, and has great benefits like the Concierge program, a no-interest flexible loan for home updates/expenses as you prepare for a sale. So good luck - Seattle real estate is stressful no matter what - but it's 100x easier with a honest, kind, and super-experienced pro like Robin on your side.
