ZillowVERIFIED Riley was our buyer's agent for a relocation from Maryland to Chicago, and he was outstanding. We've handled a few primary residence purchases before, so we know what a good agent looks like, and Riley set the bar. Sharp, honest, genuinely patient, and completely in our corner. We started the search while we were still in Maryland, so he was the one actually walking these houses for us, running showings, sending listings, and pulling comps whenever we asked. Then it got intense. We ended up under contract on four different houses in about a 45 to 60 day stretch. The first we walked from after inspection, the second the sellers took a cash offer after accepting ours, the third the sellers backed out for personal reasons, and the fourth we closed on. Only one of those was even ours to control, and Riley kept us steady and fighting through all of it. He gave us honest, analytical reads on price and condition and helped keep us grounded the whole time Two things set him apart. He knows the veteran buying process inside out. We used a VA loan, which can be a sticking point for sellers, and he knew how to explain it to the other side and position us so it helped instead of hurt. And he had the right local team ready, lender and attorney, who got us from contract to closing in under a month. If you're relocating to Chicago, buying competitively, or using a VA loan, go with Riley.
