We are having a home built in Ocean Shores and Rick helped us find just the right property and showed us quite a few homes already built and in the process of being built. We were able to talk to the builder while touring the homes. Rick would always have a answers to all your questions if not he would always get you the information you need. Rick went out of his way showing us around the community and pointed us to just the right place to get our financing done. Rick is even now sending us pictures of our home being built, he is a true professional.

Rick let us wonder each house then would tell us what the features were. He told us he had one house in mind for us but wanted to give us options. He did show us our perfect home and we made an offer that day. Rick was great through out the entire process and explained to us what to expect. We have already told a few friends about how great Rick was and I know one of them is already working with Rick to find a home.

ZillowVERIFIED At age 55, I finally saved enough money to purchase my first home. I didnt know the first thing about buying a home or property, or about real estate. I only knew where I wanted to live. I phoned Rick LaShance at Windemere to ask some questions, and he soon became my real-estate agent. I had heard horror stories about home purchase; how stressful it is. Rick put all those stories to shame. I gave him a list of what I wanted in a home: privacy from neighbors, close proximity to ocean, quiet street, fireplace or wood stove a must, a certain price point, and I wanted a porch to sit on every evening. Rick patiently took me to view several homes, which all came close, but I never got that I must have you feeling. Rick called me one evening to say that he had found the perfect place. One look, and I was in love with my two-bedroom chalet by the jetty. The home was everything I wanted, the yard was perfect, I got TWO porches (on both levels of the house), a wood stove, a carport, and the price was EXCELLENT!!! My dreams have come true. I moved in today, and words cannot express how special this milestone is for me. Rick was patient, he listened to exactly what I wanted, he didnt try to sell me something I couldnt afford, and he made the entire process easy to understand and enjoyable. We purchased the first house he recommended to us. The 2nd house we purchased this year, we walked into Ricks office on a Friday and asked if he was available Saturday to show us a property we had found. He made time for us, we didnt like the house we had found, he said I have a property on the lake Id like to show you I walked into the house on the lake and immediately liked it - we made an offer that day. Rick has done this long enough to know what most are looking for. He lives in the area so he knows just about everything there is to know - he is pleasant, professional, gives you as much time as you need. Communicates very well and does whatever he can to help. ZillowVERIFIED Called and wanted to list a property at Ocean Shores. This is my vacation cabin and want to sell it and invest money elsewhere. I called on Friday 8/12 and said he would enter and review property 8/13 on Saturday. I texted him the access code as I felt he was trustworthy and a Windermere agent. Said he would go out and review property. Black hole. He did not respond to text or get back to me after spending time with him on the phone. Now I have to start my search all over. How good is a real estate agent if they leave a new listing on the table in a market lacking listings with too many agents?

He had a very good knowledge of the area, and he seemed to grasp very quickly which houses that my wife and I would be interested in, and which we would not. He was also very knowledgeable about the whole buying process, and helped us jump through several hoops. And while he may occasionally have been hard to reach, he was normally willing to talk to us day or night, seven days a week. Not only was Rick helpful in terms of buying the home, but he has also helped us through a few post-purchase issues. He has been willing to let workers in for us when we were absent, and has helped us through some warranty issues. Ricks helpfulness does not end when when the sale is finalized, and weve really appreciated that.
