ZillowVERIFIEDWe lost out on a real estate opportunity due poor communication from Rick. The communication between Rick and the selling agent was often very disconnected. We spoke to another agent and received a well communicated answer to our same questions. Unfortunately it was too late, and now we are back the the drawing board. I can honestly say having bought and sold several properties, this was a poor experience.

ZillowVERIFIED Rick is exceedingly professional and makes you feel welcome during the home buying process. He listened to our needs and found a condo that appealed to us. He has more experience than any other realtor we have worked with and has a very strong brand. Work with Rick and you will have a very stress free and comfortable home buying experience. We love our new condo!

ZillowVERIFIED It was a pleasure working with Rick, from start to finish. Good guy, empathetic, and insightful. We were introduced by someone we trusted, and Rick met our expectations. Low pressure, but super responsive, especially in some late evening decision scenarios.

ZillowVERIFIED Rick Genzink is a great realtor and I would recommend him to family and friends. Rick is very knowledgeable about real estate processes, negotiations, houses, and many areas along the west coast of Michigan. Hes also personable, doesnt try to influence clients, instead he has his clients best interests in mind. I'm very glad Rick was my realtor, my home buying experience was very pleasant, and even enjoyable!

ZillowVERIFIED I would recommend rick to anyone looking for a realtor!! He made himself available anytime of the day which was essential in today's market. A house would come on the market and he made it a priority to get me a walk through ASAP! He has lived in holland all his life so he was very knowledgeable about the area. I was a young home buyer and new to the area so I really appreciated being able to trust he would find me a home in a good neighborhood. Also being that it was my first home I needed someone to be patient, honest, and knowledgeable. Rick was all of those! He truly made my home hunting experience a great one and still even checks in on me to make sure everything is going well!!

ZillowVERIFIED We were very pleased with Rick during our house hunting experience. He was very knowledgeable about Holland, the current market, finance information, and the buying process. He always responded promptly to our calls, texts, and emails. Even though we were living out of state through out the buying process, we were always kept informed and up to date on the process.

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Rick recently to purchase a house for our growing family. We were very concerned about finding enough space for our family on a budget. Rick was very attentive to our needs and incredibly willing to help us in any way possible. He was always able to get us in for showings within 48 hours, he responded to texts and phone calls promptly and answered all of our questions with wisdom and guidance. Working with Rick was easy and enjoyable. We are very thankful that we worked with Rick and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy in this area!

ZillowVERIFIED I was a first time home buyer a year out a college and was looking for a nice house to invest in around the Holland area where I work. I was a complete beginner and had no idea what I was getting myself in to looking for houses. I thought I knew what I wanted in my house, but after looking at a few with Rick, he gave me some of his advice when I asked for it on things to look for in houses and he was very open and honest. He really wanted me to get the best house for what I wanted. The third house we looked at I loved. That same day, the house I loved, he called me and said he knows another person has put an offer in that day to give me an update. I told him I would think it over and call him back soon. Called him back and told him lets do it and put in an offer. Not having any idea what that meant, he walked me through the whole process and taught me some techniques for putting a good offer in, good faith deposit, addenda for closing costs, etc.. So by the time we settled on what I wanted to do, I think we finally put the offer in around 11pm on a Friday and I got the call from Rick the next day saying I bought the house I wanted! Got a good deal on the house I really wanted and won on my first offer on a house! Next couple months Rick was always open to call and answer whatever questions I had before closing and took me out to lunch to sign paper work. All in all, Rick is very professional, easy to work with, openly honest, and an all around good person. I would highly recommend to any one, especially rookies buying a house like myself.

ZillowVERIFIED Rick sold our mothers house for us. It was good to be able to hand the responsibilities over to someone who knows the business after mom died. We had lots of other things to attend to. He handled everything that came up with patience and kindness.. He not only knows the real estate business but also understands the dynamics a family goes thru when losing a homestead of many years. All is important when looking for a realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I were not terribly serious about moving when we stumbled upon Rick at a condo open house we window shopped. After chatting with him for a few minutes, it became apparent that Rick was willing to do what it took to help us not only sell our home but purchase our condo. His professionalism throughout the process was appreciated however I expect that. However, I did not expect his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure our questions were answered no matter the time of day, our concerns were addressed no matter how trivial they were and our interests were always kept at the forefront. Rick worked hard to ensure that we closed on our new condo and closed on our old house at the same time so we were inconvenienced as little as possible and could focus on our moves. If I didn't hate the moving process so much :) I would list again and ask to work with Rick!

ZillowVERIFIED As first-time home buyers we really didn't know where to start. After speaking with Rick Genzink we were impressed with his overall grasp of our situation. He proved to be proficient as well as family oriented. He listened to everything we wanted and even added a few suggestions of things we didn't even think of. Very considerate and thoughtful concerning our thoughts as we walked thru open houses and discussed changes with us. He was a realtor that was looking out for our best interest as he led us step by step when needed or gave us free reign. He went above and beyond to help us achieve our dream of a new home. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with him, and would recommend him to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIED Rick is the best realtor I could have ever had. I checked out quite a few homes and he got me into each and every one of those the day of. That is such a good thing because houses are selling so quickly. He was eager to get me into a home it didn't matter where. He is out of Holland and I moved into a house in Hastings. He was just a really friendly great guy and I will use him again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Buying any home, let alone your first home, can be stressful, exhausting, and frustrating. I had worked with two realtors prior to working with Rick and found myself feeling all the emotions listed above. However, after working with Rick I was enjoying house shopping and finally found someone who went above and beyond for me. Rick sent me houses before they were listed, was willing to go last minute to look at a house, and provided his opinion and advice when I needed it. It was and still is evident that Rick cares about his clients, as he still asks how I am doing. Rick is simply the BEST.
