I live in Oregon, and had to move my mother out here from Virginia in the wake of a pretty egregious case of financial elder abuse from a close relative. Getting her house sold was critical to replenishing Mom's finances, and it was challenging to be 3,000 miles away while managing the process of renovation and sale. Rich came in with poise and hit the ground running from Day 1, making the entire experience smooth, pleasant, and quick. He helped us wrap up the renovation with great information about the market and where to spend our money on key features. We sold for a tidy amount over list price, posted the house on a Monday, had multiple offers in hand by Wednesday, and signed the contract on Friday. I had already found several homes I was interested in seeing and he was able to get me into them immediately. Rich was able to tell me the pros and cons of each property and neighborhoods we visited in the area. Once I found a property I was interested in, he helped me get an offer in quickly which ended up locking in the deal. During the home buying process Rich was always available by call or text to assist with any concerns I had. He was always willing to follow up on something I was worried about or was already on it because he knew what needed to be done before I even asked! When it comes to negotiations, this is your guy! There were a lot of items that came up in the home inspection which he was able to help me navigate through and decide which were most important. When the Sellers came back with only agreeing to fix half of the items, Rich did not take no for an answer! I felt he was always in my corner and fought for me every step of the way! I ended up getting almost all of the repairs completed that were originally asked. In addition to all of the hard work, Rich also sent me thoughtful gifts throughout the process to make things go smoother and give me peace of mind that I was in good hands. As the process was coming to an end, Rich was there at my closing to make sure all of the ts were crossed, is were dotted, and to wish me well in becoming a first time homebuyer! After closing was over, I ran into a few snags that I needed professional help on. I reached out to Rich and he didnt hesitate to assist even though the deal was over. Buying a home can be very stressful, but Rich made the whole process run smoothly. Even if you find the home of your dreams on your own, I would 100% recommend getting a Real Estate Agent. Rich was able to get me into see that home, make the deal, renegotiate the deal to make it right for me, make all the calls/appointments, and close within only a months time!
