ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend RaShad to anyone seeking a realtor. In a sellers market, he helped us make an offer that was promptly accepted by the sellers. RaShad knew our neighborhood and the specs we could expect to find in most houses. Through various situations that arose throughout the process, RaShad kept a cool head and kept us calm as well. He successfully negotiated with the listing agent/sellers on concerns that arose. He always responds promptly. His behavior is extremely professional, but also warm and friendly. (He once offered to buy us ice cream when an ice cream truck passed a home we were viewing!) In spite of the fact that my husband and I were first time home buyers shopping at a low price point, he always treated us with utmost respect and as important clients. Because of RaShad, we are now home owners in our dream home. I could not recommend him any more highly. Do yourself a favor and call RaShad.

ZillowVERIFIED We worked with Rashad McLean of the Athy Real Estate Team in Atlanta to buy our home. As first time homebuyers, we were very concerned about ensuring that the agent we worked with would be patient, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, persistent, and willing to negotiate the best deal possible. We received all of that and more from Rashads services. When we initially started working with Rashad we were shopping for a resale, but during the process we came across a great deal to build from the ground up. Well, what we didnt expect were all the challenges involved with the purchase of a new build. Rashad was always on point making sure the builder and seller kept the transaction moving forward, were building a quality product, and that we were able to close in a timely manner. Along the way we ran into a few obstacles that Rashad handled expeditiously and to our complete satisfaction. In fact, he went above and beyond to demand the builder fix a serious design flaw that they were hesitant to resolve amicably. Rashads services dont stop with showing a home. Rashad also provides resources for mortgage, legal, inspection, handyman services, and other referrals needed during the process as well as after closing. We used the referrals he offered and each one was just as professional as Rashad. We feel fortunate and delighted to have worked with such a professional person who was also genuinely friendly. ZillowVERIFIED RaShad is perhaps the calmest person I met during this process. When we met, he had prepared an assessment of the neighborhood and I believe provided me with excellent advice in terms of the value of the property, a sense of the surrounding area and a reasonable offer to buy number. We were the first of five viewers that day and our offer was accepted. Then, the difficulty started. After the inspection, the seller and/or her realtor were difficult to communicate with. While RaShad was always responsive to me, he had to admit that he was, despite efforts on his and his office's behalf, was having trouble contacting and getting responses from the listing realtor. When finally a response did come, it was a we are not going to repair anything and a demand to stay in the property until the seller could herself move directly into a new property. This was issued just a couple of hours before a decision had to be made to purchase or kill the deal. I was livid; RaShad was calm. He recommended, in the end, that we let the house go. We did, but a day later, the seller wanted to re-instate the deal and agreed to make the repairs needed, one of which turned out to be extensive. I agreed to a date certain vacation of the property, not an open ended leaving. At the closing, the listing realtor and seller again attempted to extend the period of time the seller could stay in the home after closing. I, with RaShad's support, explained that the purpose was to live in the house, not to be a landlord. The seller then made a threat to back out of the sale.I was lived; RaShad was calm. Eventually we did close. I recommend Mr. McLean. He will be calm and thoughtful when you are livid!
