We initially listed our house in Blountville with another agent, and it sat on the market for 3 years. Then we switched to David and Rachel. We were not able to visit our house often, and even though the prior agent assured us that it was maintained, it was not. David and Rachel got it fixed up, and got an offer within 3 months. We planned to move back to Tennessee in 2025, and in 2024 David and Rachel spent 4 or 5 days to drive us all over east Tennessee, Blountville, Church Hill, Elizabethton, Erwin, Kingsport, Johnson City, Jonesborough, Chuckey, Greeneville, and houses out in the country even south of Greeneville. These two are worth their weight in gold, I absolutely will be using them again in the future. David and Rachel were referred to me by a family member that used them for their real estate transactions in this area. I am very new to the Tri-Cities area but seasoned with real estate from my professional career. While touring my first home with David and Rachel, they used their joint expertise to point out a multitude of items that I had not noticed in the home. They were great about pointing out well done crown moldings without seams and the age of HVAC elements, while also noting signs of past water damage, areas of compromised sub-floors, and exterior trim issues. Their attention to detail saved me from purchasing a home that would have likely cost a significant amount of money to fix. When I found the home I decided I wanted to purchase, David and Rachel knew the home would sell quick so they were out early the next morning to tour with me. When choosing to purchase the home we toured, their knowledge of the local area (schools, nearby businesses, and commute times) helped me make an informed decision on whether the home was right for me. When it came time to negotiate on the purchase price and repairs, Rachel served as an amazing resource; she was able to negotiate a significant number of concessions that saved me a lot of money on future home updates. When we did come up with items we wanted to change in the home, David's knowledge of home improvement gave us some great alternatives for repairs and upgrades that would be efficient and cost-effective. Their combined expertise and contributions will end up saving me tens of thousands of dollars down the road, which I am beyond pleased with. On top of all this, they were very generous with their time answering calls at all hours of the day, always made sure I was up to date on anything going on, and just genuinely kind people. The value David and Rachel brought to the table was immensely helpful and I am thoroughly convinced I would not have got the home I did without their help. The inspection report on our Dream Home uncovered a lot of repair needs aEUR" Rachel and David both, as a team, went through our concerns, big and small, and spent hours on the phone with us trying to determine best course of action for each and every one of them. Rachel graciously accepted many frantic calls from me, day and night, without complaint. She responded to every text, every email, every concern quickly, professionally, and with care. We were first-time homebuyers and could have very easily been taken advantage of by our less-than-trustworthy sellers but Rachel fought until -hours- before our Closing to ensure that we were treated fairly and had the best home-buying experience possible. They made countless recommendations for local contractors, inspectors, even the best pizza, and when you mention a referral from Rachel and David, the person youre speaking with cant wait to also tell you how great they are (every single time). I worked with Rachel the most because were both the organizers and communicators of our marriages but David spent a great deal of time with my husband making recommendations for our property and pointing out things we would have never even considered. Rachel and David both gave us insight into the area (i.e. the Eastman plant in Kingsport and its possible 'aroma') and also the current market conditions--the market was really hot, homes selling tens of thousands over asking price. We needed that truthful, straightforward info. She and David both pointed out features and flaws during Zoom tours of homes. It's not the same as being their in person, but almost, and good enough. When we did make an offer, Rachel was shrewd. She handled communications with the sellers agent--she got a feel for what kind of offer they would accept, deftly shared with him what we had to offer (we were able to settle quickly), was able to get him to withdraw a counter-offer the seller had made... and we got the house for asking price, which was unheard of at that time. We saved $$$$$$. I would work with them again and highly recommend. I don't say that lightly. We've shopped for homes in 3 different states now and had varied experiences with realtors...This was one of our best.

We just closed on our first home and after reaching out to them and explaining our desires, they immediately went to work getting us into properties that we were interested in. They are very extremely knowledgeable on the local area and were able to tell us immediately how far we were from the things that are important to us. They have a finely tuned sense of what the VA would approve of and not, saving us time by not even taking us to places that they knew the VA wouldn't finance. We were moving across states (from MD to TN), so Rachel had to coordinate the buying of our Tennessee house with the sale of our house in MD with another realtor. We had a major issue on the selling end of things with our buyer, so Rachel and David had to work overtime and negotiate heavily to ensure we didn't lose the house here in TN. Rachel worked out a fantastic deal that allowed us to move in early since my job started before we'd actually be able to sell our MD house.
