We couldn't be happier about our experience working with Vivian on buying our first home! My husband and I had no experience with the house buying process coming into this, so we were looking for someone who could help navigate us through the experience. I found Vivian's profile and from her words and customer reviews thought she could be a good fit. On our first conversation with Vivian it was immediately clear that she would be a great fit. She was clearly extremely knowledgable about the house buying process and extremely familiar with the local Bay Area market. She was able to clearly explain to us the process and next steps, what we should look for, and how she could help. She was transparent about what to expect, all fees and paperwork, etc, which we appreciated. She also was transparent, before we signed on, about upcoming travel plans, which I really appreciated, and ended up being a non-issue since she made sure to be available whenever we needed, even through a temporary time difference. During the house hunting, Vivian did a great job sending us house recommendations, and we found her suggestions on point. As we gave feedback on houses we viewed she narrowed in her suggestions accordingly. When we started placing offers she walked us through the process and often hopped on calls to make sure we truly understood the paperwork and logistics. During this time we never felt pressured to bid or not bid, she helped us talk through our decisions and feel comfortable. Once we got accepted on our dream house she was still there helping us navigate the overwhelming escrow process, checking in on timelines and answering more questions as we had them. Then when it came to signing final papers she made sure to make the moments felt special, showing up in person to answer any questions and document the moment with pictures and keep the mood celebratory. And when we got the keys to our new house she again made the experience special with fun photo ops and cheers. Overall, we really appreciated Vivian's quick communication, deep subject matter knowledge, and patience working with first time home buyers. We would absolutely work with her again.
