This review is for Priscilla Hanson. I wish I could give her several negative ratings. I was a renter for 1 year with my wife without any kid or pet- Leander property- livable area-1368 sqft where she was the Property Manager. From the beginning(Sept-2024), the communication with her was terrible. -Property condition upon move- non-working door bell, no pest control(she lied it's done but not done), lawn not mowed,tiles falling from the balcony, carpet never steam cleaned and many more. We did not have time to waste on fixing all property issues by raising repair requests so whatever we could manage on our own, we did. Multiple follow ups on various maintenance requests we raised. -She sends Mark Hanson(her husband) for the repair requests who is not a professional handyman and wastes so much time in fixing things. He does DIY fixes. Multiple times she sends him to our property without informing us. Even pest control and lawn mower personnel were sent without any prior notice. -95% of the repair requests were those which she should have already fixed before we moved in. It was her responsibility. Still till December we kept on wasting our time. We suffered a lot. -She never answered our request-(raised in May)to install a mosquito door in the balcony. Finally we decided to not renew the lease with her. -She lies about the notice period saying 60 days when in the lease it was 30 . We did not argue with her since we already wanted to leave and still gave more than 60 days notice. -Property vacated - 30th Sept,2025. Move out form was submitted on 28th July, we receive a reply on 29th July she received the move out form and nothing was pending from our side(only after 2 follow ups) On 23th Oct- we ask refund status-no reply to our numerous text messages, voice mails and calls sent during following days. -She had the bad intention of keeping our deposit. -We finally sent an email-28th october,asking for refund to which she replied we did not provide the forwarding address(she never asked for it). That's why there is no refund and it will take another 30 days.There was no apology for her behaviour at all. Still we were patient and did not ask what you didn't ask even once about it. We were already too frustrated. No move out formalities email was provided by her. -Again till 17th Nov, no reply and again after many to and fro she replies on 18th nov (without any apology) about deduction amount but does not attach deduction details. Again we have to follow up. -Deductions(without any receipts ever): Move out clean:$325,Carpet cleaning:$75 Total deposit-$2050(she already took from owner the complete amount and these deductions are from her side not the owner) -Upon asking for receipts, she provides property pics in which she herself puts so many items in the property, many pics did not belong to property, pics which only we sent her, many more shocking pics. Upon confronting strictly this behavior, no reply.She clearly refused providing receipts(upon asking multiple times) saying she is only needed to provide the deduction details. We broomed and mopped the property including the outside area with the garage very well.Steam Carpet cleaning was to be done only when you have pets according to lease. Carpets were already dirty upon moving in(we bought our own cleaner for $110) but the previous tenant must have been charged for the same since he had pets. We finally gave up on asking for receipts as well. She charges the previous tenants for the damages they do but she will never fix them for the next tenants. Money goes to her pocket. There were already so many negative reviews on her on various portals but still we proceeded with her thinking nothing bad would happen to us. Will not at all recommend Priscilla Hanson. Basic traits of customer service are missing. She should never deal with people.She is rude, highly unprofessional ,money minded and does property business unethically. Worst Experience in renting in18 years.
Priscilla was excellent, she helped us through the whole leasing process and got us set up with our landlord. Seemed to know a lot about the neighborhood and surrounding area, I think we will definitely reach out to her again about future rentals!
My friends and I rented an A/B condo at 6806 Porter street in Austin, Texas through the Madigan Maison team, with Priscilla specifically. She was very rude, unprofessional, and cold throughout our time there. If youre considering renting or buying through her, I would highly suggest anyone else. Her and her team took several hundred dollars of our deposit and had numerous false claims. The yard was in terrible condition, the unit was filthy, and the neighborhood was terrible. They had no irrigation system, yet expected us to somehow water the lawn, weed it, and cut the aEURoegrassaEUR?. We cut the aEURoegrassaEUR? (mainly dirt, cat feces from the neighbors 8 or so strays that ventured into our yard everyday, filled with weeds, etc.) and kept the yard maintained. We always paid our rent early or the day it was due, never missed a payment and we were very easy to work with. We never once complained about the neighbors who shot off guns every single week, loitered in the streets, had the cops called, sold and did drugs in plain site, and had numerous packages stolen. Nearing the end of our lease, we generously donated them our lawn mower and weed whacker for the next tenant so that they wouldnt have to buy one. If I could give Priscilla a negative review, I happily would. She should never deal with people. Customer service or being friendly/a decent human being is simply unimaginable for her.

This realtor was the agent for a rental I was looking at in E. Austin, she was great! Even though I didn't end up loving the property she showed me, she gave me all of these other places to look at that were much more in my wheel house. I was nervous, this would be my first place, but she was really knowledgeable about the process and the local area so my worries were put to rest.
