ZillowVERIFIED I've dealt with numerous realtors and agents in my time, as my parents moved around a lot. I'd gotten it in my head that most realtors were like the ones I'd experienced before - selling houses as a second job or retirement supplemental income. Some were brash, most had limited availability with very slow response times, most generally just seemed like they wanted their commission and you out of their hair. Phil was recommended by a friend of mine when my fiance and I went to purchase our first home together. Let me first say that we are far from normal. We were probably annoying with all of our questions and strange likes, dislikes and sarcasm.Phil was absolutely brilliant. He's easy to laugh and quick on his feet. A very friendly and honest guy, and a total breath of fresh air for what is, essentially, a salesman.As a realtor, he is punctual (usually arriving early to appointments to gather his knowledge of the property before you get there). He cares more about your long-term satisfaction than what you can line his pockets with. He will look for a home you can realistically afford, and he is 100% honest with what he thinks about a property. We were not looking in a high price range, and on a few occasions he just shook his head and said, "Run far away from this home." Quick to notice future expenses in homes for sale, he was unafraid of pointing them out. He always had time for us - we spent many days texting him for updates, information, guidance...and he drove all over the Hudson Valley to check out properties with us. Nary a word of complaint and ever the gentleman.What could possibly be said about this guy that would be bad? I honestly have no idea. He's a genuinely good human being, and he helped us find our first home. We've been happily living here for a month now and it was everything promised.TL;DR: YOU WANT PHIL. He's awesome. You won't be sorry.

He was very thorough and helpful in identifying properties and quickly picked up on what was important to me, my style, and my preferences.
