Phil Kalchthaler is as good a real estate agent/broker as I've ever dealt with, and I've invested in real estate all of my life. He is familiar with seemingly every house on Lake Keowee, knowing when it was built, who built it, who's bought it, lived in it, and whom they sold it to when they moved on. Amazing amount of knowledge in the Lake Keowee area. His knowledge may extend farther, but we only looked at lakefront properties. During the search process he never pushed me towards anything, he quickly learned my tastes and from there guided me towards houses that I liked while aways continuing to make me aware of everything coming onto market. When I had found my perfect lake home his advice negotiating a fair price was impeccable. Once under contract he scheduled and attended all inspections and advised and negotiated with the sellers on issues that were discovered in the inspections. Guided me into and through closing seamlessly and still checks up to see how things are going. Additionally he seems to know all of the best contractors in the area and scheduled or helped schedule everything to easily make this my home: decorators, carpet cleaners, house cleaners, flooring people, landscapers, and on and on. Yes, I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Phil is and has been a great agent over the last 10 years. He is always there when I need him, he picks up the phone every time I call.
