ZillowVERIFIED Peter and his team were so great to work with. I couldn't believe how quickly my home sold. They were very knowledgeable on what home improvements were needed and which were unnecessary, in order to minimize our expenses and maximize our profit. They were very fast to respond and marketed our home very well. Finally, we ran into a couple of obstacles (none of which were the realtor's fault), and they really went above and beyond to help us through. In my opinion, they deserve more than five stars!!!

ZillowVERIFIED If I could give MacIntyre Realtors zero stars, I would. I have bought and sold a variety of properties through various real estate agencies, and my experience with him has by far been the worst. Mr. MacIntyre and his assistant were as unprofessional and unethical as it gets. The only time we saw the agent himself was when he showed up 20 minutes after closing to collect his sign. We were finishing work outside the house, and he did not even acknowledge us. We were pressured into signing the first offer by his assistant, Nicole, while they did not even tell us other people had scheduled showings. After we were nearly forced to sign and we were packing up our belongings before the sell date, his agency failed to mention to us that the buyer had scheduled a walk through. As we were packing and cleaning up, a the buyer and his family showed up to check out our house. Awkward. Luckily, the buyer's agent was respectful enough! You sure won't get that with this guy.

ZillowVERIFIED Peter and his agency listed my home. Peter was more interested in selling the house quickly and moving on to the next client then he was in making sure we were well represented. Once he had the home listed, I never heard from him again and had to go through his multiple assistants. The day of the scheduled open house his assistant was late and Peter was no where to be seen because he was up north at his cottage. I would recommend staying far away from his company because it is not about the client with Peter, it is about more money in his pocket. If you are unsure, meet with him, he will share all about his lifestyle, personal home locations and opinions on other homes he is listing.

Peter was our sellers agent and priced the home appropriately. We had showings requests within a few hours and offers coming in within a few weeks that were at or above asking price. Eleanor was our buyers agent and we cannot say enough good things about her. We looked at a lot of homes before we found the right one. She was very patient with us and VERY knowledgeable whenever we had questions. Her expertise goes way beyond what a "typical" agent does. There were a few hiccups during our sale and purchase that neither party could control, but having them on our side made the process so much easier. If you're looking for a team that you can rely on and will go the extra mile to make it happen if needed, this is it! We are now enjoying our dream home and couldn't be happier with our decision. ZillowVERIFIED Not good. Not a good experience at all. I've read the other reviews and it seems this team gets a lot of positive feedback. Maybe the negative experiences don't make it to the reviews? I don't know.Most reviews say that they generate a lot of foot traffic. I do agree with that. They do great at advertising and getting people in. The problem was after dozens and dozens of appointments not one person expressed any interest in our house. On top of that their team told me our 140k house wouldn't last a week on the market. Could be possibly get an offer the next day.... I was able to look past the fact that the agent showed up to our house in tennis shoes and basketball shorts, walked the property, took pictures, executed our entire agreement, all in less than 20 minutes.Well 4 months went by and we didn't get anything. Some back history, We just had our 3rd child and moved to IN and needed this house to sell quickly. We were living in a camper until then.After getting very frustrated we cut ties with them and went to another company. It was a world of change and we found out what we were missing out on real quick. The house sold that week we switched to another realtor that could actually generate offers. The worst thing was, we had 2 other realtors tell us they tried showing our house when we were listed with Peter Macintyre but couldn't get a hold of anyone. They could not pay me to recommend them.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed the most highly rated Realtors in the greater Lansing area. Our decision to choose MacIntyre and Cowen proved to be the absolute best choice. Peter was our selling agent and we had multiple showings within the first 48 hours and 1 offer. We accepted a 2nd offer (over asking price) within 4 days of sale. We had previously had the house on the market the year prior for a lessor price with another Realtor with no success. Peter is focused on their firm being the very best it can be giving their associates training in many fields for their success and yours.Eleanor was our buyers agent. ZillowVERIFIED I met with Brad, an agent of Peter MacIntyre. After we discussed the home, Brad - and Peter MacIntyre - would not call me back after repeated attempts to call them over 2 weeks. On the last call, I was told Peter himself would be calling me back. A young lady called me instead and told me that they "had a lot going on" and were just too busy to list my home and suggested another real estate office. I called that office just for them to tell me that I have the wrong number for that particular agent.

ZillowVERIFIED Our home was priced too agressively and as a result we had no room to move when the inevitable and readily apparent (roof and deck) issues led to a second reduction in price.Peter never visited the home, instead sending a less experienced realtor to tour it and set the price.The home was sold by an affiliated REMAX realtor who during the second showing and inspection never even entered the home, allowing our renter to show it to the buyer and inspector, pointing out flaws as he went.Result, our home sold for $32,000 under low end of the market.The final blow, his closing manager allowed the title company to handle the wire transfer of funds, which she screwed up by putting the wrong name on the transfer. She never checked to see if the wire went through and therefore did not catch the mistake until I called her the next day when our money was not in our account.This resulted in the buyer taking possession without paying us. A never should happen event in real estate.Bad experience from beginning to end.Peter is clearly more focused on getting to his lake house up north on Thursday afternoons than working for his commission.

He did not over promise, but assured me that he was focused on selling my property as quick as possible and for as much as possible. I actually had a showing and an offer within 48 hours of listing!
