Pete has far exceeded our expectations in several areas...He was extremely friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and also provided excellent counsel from the beginning of our interactions and of course found us the home of our dreams for about $100,000 BELOW our budget...If that's not enough, after we were already living in the home for 90 days, we took a trip out of the state and failed to shut off our water pipes in freezing weather. Due to our negligence, an outside pipe popped off which we found upon returning. We called Pete for help, and what did he do? Pete was recommended by an award winning agent in Hawaii who vetted several agents in the Snohomish County area. Pete did much hand-holding and carefully listened to my "wish list". 2 hours and 3 houses later, I had selected the home I wanted with all the features I'd asked for, and within less than 48 hours I had my home at a fair price. Not only is Pete responsive, hardworking, knowledgeable and a delight to work with, he has the best contacts in the business. The mortgage company Pete recommended was fantastic, as was the inspector. Pete was present for the inspection and re-inspection, ALWAYS looking out for my best interests. He arranged for the best garage door guy to repair the garage door, the best landscapers to tidy up the trees and remove an unsafe play structure, and even had someone come clean the house before I moved in, all at no cost to me. Who does THAT??Pete has an enviable Rolodex of contacts, all, like Pete, honest and responsive. I have contacted Pete several times, post purchase, to ask if he knows "someone who can", and Pete never disappoints.Nicole, Pete's 'gal Friday', could also be counted on answer questions immediately if Pete was not available and was up to date on my file and where I was in the process.I will forever be in Pete's debt for efficiently and professionally walking me thru the process. I felt very cared for, and that was something I did not expect at all. As I have later said, buying a house is easy, if someone else does the work. He answered any and all questions we had about the house we were interested in and promptly sent us pictures related to the items that we had concerns about during the inspection. For example, there was a faucet in the basement that the inspector did not know how to turn on and indicated that it was broken during the inspection process. We thought that there was a major plumbing issue with the house so we contacted Pete and expressed our concern. Pete immediately came to the house, figured out how to turn it on, took pictures, and sent them to us within a few hours after we contacted him. Not only did the pictures help to ease our concerns about the plumbing of the house, but he also helped the buying process go along very smoothly. We also contacted him with several questions about the house during our inspection process. He answered them all. For the questions that he needed further clarifications, he contacted the sellers and promptly provided us the answers.In addition, he is very knowledgeable in home improvement matters and provided us several great suggestions to help improve the house. He has helped us and the sellers make the entire buying/selling process move along smoothly throughout the negotiation process. He also promised to fix a broken window after we purchased the house. He followed through and contacted us to confirm the date that he scheduled the window company to fix the window. Buying a house can be a very stressful process.
