Buying a home is one of the most stressful and nerve-racking processes. As a first-time home buyer, I did not have the best experience working with Nimrata and Chris from NJ Properties KW, and I would not recommend them. I hired Nimrata and Chris immediately after I let my previous agent go. While I thought the grass might have been greener on the other side, my first-time buying experience was filled with frustration. Personally, I felt Chris and Nimrata cared more about the sale than being advocates and helping buyers make informed decisions. Take what they say with a grain of salt, and do your research. If you want an agent to help you avoid costly repairs or write in an offer with repairs, I would avoid them at all costs. They did not do their due diligence to prevent that for me. With 30 years of experience, their approach was highly avoidable. They did offer to help pay/contribute to the significant repair, but frankly, their offering was a slap in the face and insulting. Please avoid falling into their trap and thinking their warranty gift was any good.... "we've have done that for several of our clients (waived inspections) and with the home warranty at least you'll will have a bit of peace of mind. Because we will ask them to get you either the best version or Chris, and I will take care of that on our end for you either way. So at least for one year, you can live in your home and know if anything were to happen, it would be taken care of by your warranty." I genuinely hope they do better in the future. It saddens me to write this review as I consider Nimrata once a friend, and we share several mutual acquaintances. She and Chris were not the right fit for me, and I am beyond disappointed and disgusted by the experience. As a first-time buyer, I was naive and ignorant and trusted them with their guidance in the process. What started as a good experience ended in a bad and sour experience. I hope others will have a better experience working with them. Words cant describe my feelings and disappointment with my first-time buying experience. And one last noteaEUR| I asked them to remove my photos/ videos from their Instagram, and instead of taking them down, they hid my comment and kept the photo up. I want to reiterate that I do not consent to or authorize them to use a photo of me to be uploaded to their social media, and again, I ask politely for them to remove them. If you look at my photos used on their social media platform, I would like to say that the smile on these photos and videos does not reflect my experience working with them. I kindly ask them to remove my photo from their online platforms, as looking back at these images and videos only expresses deep frustration.A
