ZillowVERIFIED I can't say enough good things about working with Neil. My husband and I had set (we think) very high expectations for what we were looking for in a home. And Neil exceeded them, finding us our absolute dream home (in a crazy competitive market!). He was not only incredibly responsive and flexible with our schedules (when we were emailing and calling from a different time zone), but his knowledge went beyond your typical real estate professional -- we were looking at some "fixer-upper" properties, and he took the time to crawl under to examine the foundation and spoke on the subject of the home's structure as if he was a home inspector himself. He saved us a LOT of heartache (and money) by steering us away from some homes that could have been an easy sale for him (we were in love) but a future money pit for us. He clearly cared more about our long-term needs and our interests than making a quick commission. Prior to selecting Neil as our guy, we did our extreme due diligence and researched many "top" professionals in the area (as we were moving cross country and needed someone we could trust to handle things while we were a 6-hour flight away). He stood out as the top choice, and we're so beyond-happy that we were able to work with him. Nothing beyond glowing things to say about this guy...

ZillowVERIFIED As first time home buyers, we had a lot to learn and Neil kept us informed and educated us every step of the way. With a challenging budget, we knew we had our work cut out for us, but Neil was confident and never let us lose hope; continually searching for that home that would fit our needs. Once we found our house, we ran into some difficulties with our lender and to this day, had it not been for Neil coaching us through these challenges, I don't think we would be in our home. I would recommend Neil Bender for any and all of your real estate needs and will most definitely be using him again.

ZillowVERIFIED Neil is a very knowledgeable guy to go to when it comes to buying a house. I realized after meeting with him for the first time, this guy knows his stuff real well. He came to meet my wife and I the first time well prepared. He knew a lot of all basic construction knowledge which makes him pretty unique compare to three other agents that I worked with and didn't like. As I mentioned, this man would come to you with his finished homework. By the time we found the right house after we looked and drove everywhere, my wife and I were really happy because Neil helped to get everything going smoothly with the loan and the seller. He also recommended me to Don, the most knowledgeable home inspector that came to help us pointing out a lot of things, let's say we got a home for a really good deal. There are a lot of people out there calling themselves realtors but when it comes to buying or selling a home Neil got us a nice home and I'm a hard person when buying a house. If we can afford another one we'd definitely go back to him again, I know I put him through a lot but he's a hard worker.

We did not end up making an offer on that first house viewed, but Neil made himself available for any house we requested to view. Most impressive was how quickly he could collect information about different properties, his knowledge regarding structural condition and building requirements, and his eye for detail in noting potential concerns. He was always available by phone or email and responded very quickly to questions and requests. He had terrific suggestions for negotiating the closing deal for the home we ultimately purchased, and he referred us to our lender.
