Through experience she has seen everything and knows how to navigate through any issue that may arise through the process. We appreciated her input during our home walk through on how best to stage the home for listing. She was always available to answer any questions we had and to explain them over if necessary for our understanding. After seven days of our home being listed, we had two offers, and she met with us and went over the pros/cons of each offer. This was helpful to us in making an informed decision. Despite being complicated by the distance, it was relatively easy because of Moriet's help. She is a fabulous realtor and a wealth of information on Yakima. During our search she and her team went above and beyond to show us houses, once showing a house on three separate occasions to me, my husband, and my in-laws. We followed her advice aEUR" exactly as recommended. A simple project of the ceilings receiving a coat of paint shifted into a fresh coat of paint for the entire house. The outdated backsplash in the kitchen was the first item Moriet told us has aEURoegot o go!aEUR? It along with new trim around windows made our 70s rambler look updated and contemporary. We had already painted, updated lighting, appliances, remodeled the bathrooms, added hardwood and new carpet in our home we were selling. As Moriet gracefully framed it, aEURoerent a storage unit, pack up everything so aEUR" basically you feel as though you are camping.aEUR? THIS WAS THE BEST ADVICE EVER! It helped us clear out our home enough so that when it came time for staging and photos for marketing materials there was not a bunch of extra clutter. But the day before the "Open House" my house was sold for the full asking price. Then came the hard part, finding another house to buy. All in the middle of winter. Closing for my house would be after Christmas. It was a very stressfull holiday for everyone. She was able to fine me the cutest home, just the right size with very little to do on it but to enjoy. As soon as you begin talking with her, she makes you feel as though you are one of the most important people in the world to her. She is very knowledgeable of the real estate market in central Washington, especially having grown up in the Yakima valley! She listed our home at an appropriate and competitive price. She offered a number of open houses to begin an aggressive approach to advertise our home. We listed our home toward the end of the busy summer season, but that did not hinder our success in marketing the home. As soon as we had an offer after only a short number of weeks, she was right on it making sure all the proper documents were signed, mostly electronically via email for our convenience (eg. DocuSign). The inspection was ordered immediately and the minor repairs we needed were completed soon afterwards. I'm sure the new home owners were thrilled to see the closing date move up due to the swiftness of the whole transaction! Even with the new TRID regulations, we closed on the home fast. I felt that Moriet guided us through every question we had with ease; it was never a burden to call her. I would highly recommended Moriet for any future real estate transactions.
