About Montshonae Johnson
Real estate is more than transactions to me - it's about people, trust, and helping families confidently move into their next chapter.
As a dedicated real estate professional with Connect Realty, I bring over 12 years of customer service and leadership experience into every client relationship. My career has always been built on listening attentively, solving problems efficiently, and ensuring people feel supported every step of the way.
I began my real estate journey in February 2026 after successfully passing my Texas real estate exam on the first attempt in December 2025. Although my start was delayed due to statewide TREC system issues, my passion and commitment to the industry never slowed down.
Before transitioning into real estate, I built a strong professional background with Cigna/Express Scripts, where my dedication and leadership quickly opened new opportunities. I started as a representative in April 2023, earned a supervisor position by September 2024, and was promoted again to a higher-level supervisory role by June 2025. Those experiences strengthened my communication, negotiation, organization, and resolution skills - qualities that now allow me to serve my real estate clients with confidence and care.
Whether you're buying your first home, selling a property, relocating, or investing, I am committed to making the process smooth, informed, and stress-free. I pride myself on answering not only the questions clients ask, but also the questions they may not yet know to ask.
My goal is simple: to help people reach their homeownership and investment goals with strategy, clarity, and genuine support.
Your goals matter. Your move matters. And I'm here to help make it happen.

Answered Questions
Start with the curb appeal, often times a how a buyer perceives your home starts with their first impression of the outside. Organize the inside in a way that a buyer can see themselves there. Picture yourself as a buyer, viewing your home for the first time. That may help with deciding what should go where.
Communicate your frustrations with your agent. Attempt to find a satisfactory solution. If none can be reached, don't force yourself to stay in a situation that you find distasteful; review the terms of your agreement to see what can be done.
