She got us the house of our dreams, in the South OC location we wanted, for asking price, at a time when homes were going $50k+ over (mid-2021). She even negotiated the seller to take the home off the market the Friday of a holiday weekend -- Her skills are unmatched. Monica Carr Group has legitimately become part of our family as we made our move across the country, away from our own family. I cannot recommend this group enough. As classic millennial buyers, we read TONS of realtor reviews and interviewed three. We chose Anne because she was the only one to express it may not be the best time to buy. She immediately had our interests above her own and that only became more apparent she longer we worked with her. Even from across the country, Anne was easy to work with. We toured with her before we decided to move to California, just to get an idea of the area. Then we toured more seriously a year later right before our move. Anne put significant effort into planning. She strategically lined up homes so that we saw properties non-stop. She listened to our interests, showed us a good spread, picked up quickly on where we were leaning, then zoned in more specifically. She never pushed for more expensive homes, but she was genuine in expressing which areas she did and did not recommend living and why. Her knowledge of Orange County is extensive, which we needed not being from the area. Anne is one of the sweetest individuals and we really got to know her personally. Since buying with her, we've also gotten to know more of the Monica Carr Group. They really make an effort to establish a relationship with clients - far beyond anything I have experienced, even from other small businesses. They host a Christmas party for past clients and have checked-in multiples times, such as when we had our baby. When we decide to sell, we won't consider selling with anyone else. As we've gotten to know this group, we've seen them sell homes far over asking and, keeping with putting clients first, they've even convinced clients to remodel their current homes instead of selling. ZillowVERIFIED We started our home search casually looking without an agent and visiting open houses to get an idea for the area and types of homes we were interested in. We met Monica Carr a couple times, who was the sellers agent at a couple of the open houses we looked in on. She was so knowledgeable about the home and had such a great understanding of the market and after chatting for a while, it was obvious she really knew her stuff and we were really impressed with the way she presented herself, spoke to other visitors, and aEUR" importantly aEUR" wasnt pushy with her communication. We asked if she was willing to work with buyers and she immediately sent us to her buyers agent, Anne who was holding another open house at one of their homes. Let me tell you, Anne is AMAZING. From our first conversation with her, she was warm, listened to our needs and immediately had some ideas. She said shed send us some listings she had in mind for us, and sure enough, a couple days later, she sent us some homes that matched features we told her were important during the early stages of our search. From the start of our serious home search, we worked with Anne for about 5 months, and she tirelessly sent us listings for homes that she thought wed like. She never sent us a home just because it was a new listing, but only those that she believed met our needs. She also was sure to stay within a reasonable range of our max price, and only suggested looking at a couple homes that were slightly outside our price range if they were really compelling. My husband and I have a LOT of questions, and we do a lot of research. And every time we toured a home, and something wasnt quite right, she was always happy to move on and find us the right home. She took our feedback from the homes that didnt work, and found something new that met those new expectations. We didnt want to come across as too picky and she ALWAYS encouraged us to be as particular as we needed to be, while also giving us advice on what we were likely to find in our price range and desired neighborhoods. When she finally found our perfect home, Anne flawlessly and professionally executed our offer and the transaction and answered question after question during the whole escrow process. Even questions that we probably should have been asking others. She was always so responsive and so helpful, she was truly a godsend to us during the entire process. We were lucky to work with her team as well, including Lacey and Anna, and the entire team is simply wonderful. We cannot recommend Anne, Monica, Lacey, Anna and the entire team enough, and have zero doubt well use them again when its time to sell and buy our next home.
