Mimi Byrd

My name is Mimi Byrd, I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, a multifaceted Entrepreneur, owner of R.W. Enterprises, a Master Cosmetologist for 35 plus years, owner and operator of Running Waters Salon for 14 years, and most recently one of my greatest achievements, I've always had a desire to have rental properties, flip real estate, etc., so in December 2019 one of my good friends encouraged me to get my real estate license. I concurred and signed up for the next class in January 2020, so I received my Realtor license in the state of Georgia. Because of Covid, I didn't get my license until September 2020 and as of June 2021, I have now sold 7 homes, glory be to God! I currently still own the salon in the Fayetteville area, but real estate will be my transition from one industry to another. There are so many experiences I've had to endure, the ups and downs of life, but through it all I would like to encourage anyone reading this story that no matter what you go through, if you keep your eyes on whatever your heart desires, you will be successful! My passion for people and love for Georgia natives has driven me to do more than help, her goal is to help Georgia's lower income communities rebuild, repair and gain knowledge about homeownership and wealth. After spending nearly a decade in the customer service profession, I know and understand firsthand what it is like to walk and stand in my customer's shoes. She meets every customer "right where they are" and acknowledges the customer's needs. As a Georgia life-long native and Army Veteran I have gained a full understanding of the diverse needs of families in the communities and my goal is to see every customer become an educated and knowledgeable homeowner.
